Yes it is ala cart, however some of the items are portioned so that they are shareable. My husband and I shared a salad, vegetable and baked potato and dessert. All of the food was delicious. My husband's steak was cooked to perfection and the 8oz portion was perfect. Our waitress was very interactive and was knowledgeable about everything and helped with every question we had.

It's not a fast food restaurant, but the food is totally worth the price.

Very disappointed, Service was adequate, but not exceptional, Went to order several items on the menu were not available, Certain wines were not available placed orders And had to ask for part of our meal that was not served. Vegetables were definitely not cooked almost raw. As for the atmosphere wasn’t what You would expect at a higher class steakhouse if you like listening to Beach boy 60s music Drowning your conversations out. When I asked the multiple staff to turn the music down or change it to something more like chamber music, they said this is all the owners will play. For a $250 steak dinner with a bottle of wine this is not what I would expect. Save your money go elsewhere.

This is our 2nd time visiting Fernie Cattle Company and it definitely will not be our last. The steaks are cooked to absolute perfection. They leave your mouth watering for more once your finished! I had the ribs as well this time and that homemade blueberry bbq sauce is divine. Like next level sauce. Each dish is served separately on top of the steak or meat of choosing. We got the brie, crab mushrooms, Brussel sprouts and baked potato. ALL of them were delicious.

To us, this is the only steakhouse we will ever go to when visiting this area and we will continue to recommend it to everyone.

The owners and the staff are accommodating and professional.

Ignore the 1 star ratings from the obviously entitled on here. This place is a gem!

Came here two days in a row and was not disappointed the cook the people are super nice next time I’m in ferni definitely coming here very good steaks with the Neptune Bernie’s sauce ❤️ it

Hands down, best place to eat in fernie. I walked out with a food coma, & would definitely repeat it over. The brunette hair lady that served me on November the 6th in the evening also gave exceptional service! Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys a classic steak house eatery.

Sadly our steak was grossly over cooked 🙁 and over all not good. Baked and sautéed mushrooms good and good size however mashed and rice a very small amount for price. Stuffed mushrooms good and highly recommend the Nova wine.
