Very impressed with their cookies! The oatmeal raisin was the best I ever had. It was soft, a bit chewy, and very flavourful. Their chocolate chip cookie was good, too. It was not sweet sugary kind most other places had. It was not too sweet so that the flavour of the chocolate stood out.

Smaller selection in a smaller place than the commercial drive location but well worth visiting!

Stepping into Flourist is like walking into a bakery dream, tucked away in an area where you might not expect such a gem. This destination bakery radiates an irresistible aroma that greets you from the moment you walk in, hinting at the delightful culinary journey that awaits within.

On my visit, I had the pleasure of bringing home a boule, a round loaf of bread that turned out to be a delightful companion to our leftover charcuterie. The quality of the bread was remarkable, with a perfect balance of crusty exterior and fluffy, flavorful interior. It was so soft inside, in fact, that we struggled to cut it with a knife - maybe it’s better for tearing apart.

The bakery was pleasantly calm around noon, making for a relaxed and enjoyable shopping experience. To add to the charm, Flourist is conveniently located near Prototype Coffee, which makes it easy to grab a coffee to go with your fresh bread or pastries.

Flourist not only entices with its bread but also boasts an array of other products that are definitely on my list for the next visit. Their display of desserts was particularly tempting, as was their selection of other bakery goods. I've heard rave reviews about their "Best Ever Chocolate Cookie" and can't wait to try it for myself.

Tried calling ur store off Victoria, no answer and says to call HQ. I did and it went to a generic vm. No answer. Wanted to speak to a human about a simple item. Since no one picked up any of my calls, I’m here. Oatmeal and raisin cookie issue. I’ve been buying them for over a year and today you changed the whole cookie. From a tasty smash to a chunky grainy no where as tasty cookie. Is this a mistake or the new design?

Came on a rainy Saturday and left with a few cookies. Both of the ladies working there were very friendly.

Favourites were the hazelnut jam and oatmeal raisin. Surprisingly their best seller chocolate chip, was good but I didn’t think it was anything too special.

All were not too sweet, flavourful, and freshly baked. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the neighbourhood.

What a disappointing service from the well-trusted team of the Commercial Drive location. Fewer variety of baked goods at noon time on Sunday, only for takeaway, no drinks and unattentive staff. Please reconsider your service hours and availability of the fresh pastries, least to say.

So happy they've opened up another location - and in my neighbourhood! The sourdough cinnamon buns are delish. Their staff are also very friendly. 10/10 would recommend.
