I came in to purchase a potted plant for my friend whose husband recently passed away. Everyone buys bouquets and I like something more lasting…

While the lady who was working there was helping me, I mentioned a couple of my own challenges. Without hesitation, she showed me the most wonderful kindness and compassion. She helped me to pick out the perfect thing because I learned later that my friend is using those exact same flowers at her husband’s funeral.

Edit: I saw the flowers an entire week later at my friend’s house who I gave the bouquet and vase to, and they still looked good! She said they lasted longer than any of the other flowers she got (her mom just passed). Couldn’t believe how long they lasted!
