Flower Street is the BEST florist in Halifax/Dartmouth! We were so lucky to get to work with Alex from Flower Street for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we could have made. Alex is extremely easy to work with, organized but above all, she is incredibly talented. When she walked in with my bouquet on the morning of our wedding I just started to cry… it was PERFECT. I knew from the first time I met her that she understood our vision and was the best person to bring it to life. I could not say enough good things about Alex and the whole Flower Street team!

I don’t even know where to begin to describe how amazing our wedding flowers were! Alex and the team at Flower Street absolutely nailed our vibe and blew us away with the most unique winter wedding florals. From the initial consultation the communication was amazing - we really felt like they took the time to understand the vibe we were going for (dark and wintery, a little gothy but like, classy) and suggested ideas to make it even better, and were so communicative throughout the whole process leading up to the day.
When they dropped off my bouquet and the boutonnieres my jaw dropped, and throughout the morning I was getting emails from the venue about how incredible the florals were looking as they were setting up.
They made us the most stunning hanging installation, and such cool wintery, forest-y centrepieces for the tables. All the pieces incorporated unique elements like moss, dried mushrooms, cool sticks lol, and were so beautiful and elegant. Our guests loved them too and were talking about how they had never seen flowers like that before.

When I came to Alex and Ryan for my wedding flowers, I used words such as eclectic, fun, and anything goes. I wanted flowers with no rules, that no one had seen before. Alex and Ryan managed to hone in on my vision with ease, they heard my few wild ideas and came back with more funky, and eclectic ideas than I could have dreamed of. Weddings are a funny thing, and you often have a lot less control than you would like, but giving up control to Alex and Ryan was the easiest decision I made. Alex and Ryan brought ideas to life that I didn’t even know were possible. Throughout the wedding and after, family and friends commented on how special and cool the flowers were. Often, people skimp on flowers because they are perishable, but every part of a wedding is. Having flower street service our wedding brought me many moments of calm and joy as I looked around seeing strangers turn to friends as they observed in amazement the very vision Alex and Ryan nurtured and brought to life. Thank you guys, we are eternally grateful for the work you did.
