Customer service is up and down.
But they also do not accept Tax exempt for status at point of sale. They claim there is no way for them to do it. I wonder how they exempted tax when is required by the government at Christmas time until February of 2025.

Where do people shop for groceries? This was more like a convenience store than a full grocery store.
I am from Montreal and was
unable to buy food that doesn't have to be cooked. I guess if you combine this place with Costco, you can eat full meals.

We stopped in after Christmas while staying in a rental in the area. It was great to be able to support a local business, and the after-Christmas prices on food items for the holidays were great! We also found super-local products, which we really enjoyed. I stick with the stuff that's on sale, generally, and saved quite a bit by doing this. As someone who is accustomed to paying big city grocery prices, nothing was terribly over-priced.
Lots of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beer selection, which was very helpful to the members of our party.

We live in the area and shop at Foodland frequently! Just wanted to write a review on Knox!!! What a wonderful guy, every time we come in he is so kind and helpful. The other staff are awesome as well!!

We bought sandwiches here as an alternative to going out to lunch. I liked the chicken, apple and Brie. Nice small town store.

Staff is friendly and packs your bags for you. I mean when you buy a 5 lb bag of potatoes for $7 and they rot within the first week?!?
You expect this kind of store like 40-50 km from a proper town with stores. Not like 10 km each way to a no frills or Walmart. You save so much going to either the 10 km car ride is nothing. After buying a $7 bag of potatoes and then rotting and dripping all over my pantry . Enough is enough , lost my
Business , even for the convenience

Terrible store.
Everyrhing is 30-45% more expensive than the nearest grocery stores that are unfortunately 14 kms away.
The chain owners are gouging the local residents.
Mostly older people or people who can't drive to St.Catharines for much cheaper and better quality groceries.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. The store is clean. It's expensive, but do have some good random sales. The hot food to go is ok and the bakery items are mediocre at best.
