I visited Fourquarter for the first time in August 2025 and was quite pleased - had the Louisa St seasoned burgers and Korean BBQ short ribs. Both were delicious! Very generous portion of meat on the short ribs - much larger than the typical ones in the grocery store. Definitely will be back.

We love Forequarter Butcher. We eat a lot of meat, and now nothing else compares. Their high-quality, locally sourced cuts make grocery store meat taste like sadness and cardboard.
The burgers are juicy, the chicken is so tender, and the steak.......it's an emotional experience.
The staff are legends—friendly, funny, and full of solid cooking advice.
Go once, and you'll never go back. Unless you're going back for more.

Fantastic product, ordered my husband a tamahawk steak for his birthday and it was the perfect size, such a fun cut and cooked up beautifully! Not only that but their staff are all fantastic and so friendly!

Easily the best butcher in the region.

Not only is the meat a much higher quality than you'll find at the superstore options, but it is CHEAPER.

They clearly identify the farm from which they source the meat.

I came upon this place looking for Tomahawk steaks. The shop has an amazing selection of meats and everything you need for a BBQ or smoker. Wonderful staff as well.

Forequarter is a small independent business that sources its meats from local farms. The staff is helpful and service is fast. Prices are significantly higher than what you would pay at the big grocery store chains, but for me, the increased cost is worth the value of supporting local businesses and farmers who aren't running large industrial operations. Of course, just being local doesn't mean that the products are exceptional. Fortunately, on this front, Forequarter provides top rate products as well. The prime rib I recently ordered was fresh, tender, and was enjoyed by the whole family, but I'll let you judge yourself by the photos. My family doesn't eat a lot of meat, but for the occasions where I want something special, this butcher shop will be high on my list. Definitely recommended.

I was looking for killer beef short ribs and the butchers at Forequarter delivered! On an off chance I asked if they could bring in petite tenderloins in bulk for me. They delivered again! Great products, friendly and helpful. Well worth going to Forequarter if you want great meat (organic garlic too) and specialty sauces!
