I recently had a fantastic experience at Home Hardware Building Center, and I can't praise the service enough! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, but it was the lady manager who truly made my visit exceptional.

She greeted me with a warm smile and was genuinely eager to assist. I had a specific project in mind but was unsure about which materials I needed. Without hesitation, she took the time to understand my requirements and guided me through the store with great patience.

Not only did she help me locate exactly what I was looking for, but she also shared valuable tips and suggestions that really enhanced my project. Her knowledge and enthusiasm made the shopping experience enjoyable and stress-free.

It’s rare to find such dedicated customer service, and I left the store feeling confident in my purchases and grateful for the help I received. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Home Hardware for making my visit a great one! I highly recommend this store to anyone in need of hardware and home improvement supplies.

They close fairly early for a retail store, 530 pm, that being said they have a lot of product selection and helpful staff. Huge discounts on Christmas items in January, 50-75 percent off regular price, in comparison I noticed Canadian Tire had only around 30 percentage off their Christmas items in January. Very pleased with the savings here.

I was making a ramp for my robot Vaccum. I stopped at the customer service Desk to enquire about Rubber ramps. They did not have them. I explained to her what i was trying to accomplish. She googled what i was trying to do. (Only because i think she needed a visual reference as to what i was actually trying to do) she then came up with multiple suggestions and even took me around the store to various items that i could use to create the ramp. It worked beautifully and my vacuum can now get from the living room to the kitchen. Thank-you.

Not sure if I reviewed this place before, but I meant to. This store is a great place. There may be items that they don't have but they will get them in for you. The biggest highlight is the staff. Everyone I have dealt with is a cut above. Top notch service, old school style. Like, I approached the one sales lady thinking "Well, gotta ask someone but I doubt this lady knows". Not only did she know, she knew very well. It made me wonder if there is some kind of training course they have to take because she didn't have to go look anything up. She knew the ins and outs about an obscure product, knew how to save money going with a different brand that performs better, and knew they had some on the shelf and where that shelf was. Then proceeded to walk me right to the items, instead of "It's in aisle 9" and walking away. Then, once I had everything I needed she pushed the cart load right to my truck, helped me load and took the cart back in. Along the way, anyone else working there chipped in, holding doors, asking if there was more or if we needed them to help, did I find what I needed, etc. I was totally floored. Very, very good service and sales agents. I look forward to coming back.

I am disappointed with today's purchase. Long story short, I ordered clover seed in April. At the time I was charged in advance and paid with cash. I unfortunately lost the receipt by the time I was finally able to pick up the seed in June. I had been unable to go to the store due to them closing at 6 p.m. weekdays and not being open on Sundays at all.

When I got the clover seed on June 12th, 2023, I was informed of two things:
1. my name was indeed on the form, but it had for some reason been cancelled and thus my payment of cash lost.
2. Without a receipt, I had to pay twice for the seed. Holding up my end of the bargain, as I'd ordered the product, I did so but will never again if possible order anything from Home Hardware if they are in a habit of canceling orders and taking money in advance then turning around and saying you have to pay twice to actually get it later.

It's not about how much the seed cost. It's the principle of the transaction and poor record-keeping on behalf of the store. I have trust issues with places like that. I am grateful that there are plenty of other hardware stores in town to pick from instead.

Now I see why you are hiring a yard supervisor if it's anything like the inside staff they'd better trade them out as well looking for items and counted 8 staff members sitting there visiting same at the till line up 5 inline and 3 staff watching
