We live outside Nanaimo, so don't visit as much as I would like, but I am never disappointed. The people working there are so knowledgeable, and they have every plant I could ever dream of owning. Prices are great compared to our local nursery.

My experience was very, very bad. I went to Fraser Thimble Farm to find Chocolate Lillies on July 27, 2020 and they had them and I purchased two rather expensive "invisible" bulbs in two pots. I was told to not disturb them in any way till I planted them. When I went to plant them, there were no bulbs in the pot! I checked very carefully, sifted the soil from the pot looking for these small bulbs but they were not to be found. When I called, the owner, he assured me they would sprout in the spring. Guess what... no sign of anything alive in that spot and it is now almost June! Again I called, explaining that I had been patient and followed instructions and the owner told me that rats or squirrels had eaten them without even knowing if I live in a place where that could be possible! I think it is his standard response. He is unwilling to admit that the pots did not contain viable bulbs and I essentially paid $30 for two black plastic 4" pots and a few cups of soil. This owner has absolutely no compassion or willingness to replace even one of the two bulbs I purchased. I experienced a shocking lack of customer support and I will NEVER go there again! I recommend people shop from a nursery owner with higher integrity. He simply doesn't care!!!!

Absolutely fantastic customer service. I ordered several perennial bulbs from Fraser's this year, and they phoned me just prior to shipping to let me know that, due to the weather conditions in the area this year, some of the bulbs I'd ordered were on the small side. They wanted to confirm that I was still willing to go through with the order despite the fact that some of the bulbs likely would not bloom this year. They arrived from the other side of the country within a few days, and I found that they had sent me a double/dividing bulb for one of the plants that I'd ordered, and had included some extra bulbs as a bonus! I can't recommend them highly enough. Will definitely be buying more from them in the future.

I love this place. I love little plants and succulents and they have a ton of them here as well as some really cool larger plants. They're super nice and the prices are very reasonable 💚

I've had two shipments of perennials so far and I'm amazed at the quality and the size of the plants I received. My plants were packed in moist soil just as they were slipped out of their pots and into the plastic bags for shipping and all of them are thriving. I found plants that I could never find on other sites or at any of the local nurseries in my area of the lower mainland. The prices and shipping costs are also very reasonable. Certainly beats other mail order nurseries I've previously used whose plants arrive shriveled and dried, packed in peat moss that sometimes never rehydrate and grow.
