France is never happy, never speaks and quite often is usually rude (for example I put down a divider between mine and another customers remaining goods so the belt would stop moving at mine and she picked it up and slammed it down aggressively for no reason). She is also never patient with elderly or struggling customers as well which is really sad to see as some one who is always out with such people. Most of the other staff are usually top notch.

A little pricey, some items awkwardly placed but once you find them, youre good. Ex. You dont find all garbanzo beans in one place- they may be with 3 diff ethnic groups in 3 places. Staff is always lovely. They accommodate special requests. Lots of neat options. Clean.

Sad to say but quality is not what it used to be. Last couple visits the fruits and vegetables have been very poor. It’s the middle of summer!? Next time we need to open everything and look very close.
-Strawberries beach st. Brand. Salvaged what I could from 2 containers day 1. rotten less than 1 day.
-Romaine lettuce withered after 1 day.
-10lb bag of Pinsonneault potatoes all were soft and rotten. Thrown out.
Big plastic bin of peaches no good threw out 5 of 8 day 1. Rotten.
Hummus my mistake for not checking date expiry next day.
I’m not kidding the list goes on. Very dissatisfied with this quality. Our bill was 356$ the meat was good but almost everything else sadly not acceptable.

Hands down the BEST Freshco! The staff here are incredibly friendly and always go above and beyond to assist you. Their customer service is top-notch, making every visit a pleasure. Plus, fair prices and the option to price match make it even better. Highly recommend this store!

Always a pleasure to shop here. We’ve been shopping at Freshco in Carleton Place for the past 8 years and I have never found a grocery store that compares to the kind of service we receive here. Throughout the lockdowns from 2020-2022 they made every customer feel welcome and appreciated, mask or no mask, they did not discriminate. The employees are always friendly and go above their duties to help customers. Happy employees reflects the management, so I expect the managers are doing a great job running the store. Most people who shop at this store are kind and there is a sense of community. I look forward to my trips to Freshco. Thank you!

Lots of food in stock, even during the pandemic. Hand sanitizer dispenser located at the entrance and at the exit. When I visited the store there was no line up but a staff was keeping track of the amount of people going in and out.
