Appears to be under new management or new owner. If so they should announce it. It would attract customers who were out off by the previous direction. The shelves were all well fluffed with English labels facing forward. This is much different than a few months ago. As a consumer to not have to turn boxes to the English side every single time to read it. There was one young girl there that was super meticulously stocking the shelves. She wasn't doing it slow. Just doing it well. Keep up the good work!

Went in 5 minutes before close to get JAM AND PICKLES. I get it sucks to have last minute shoppers, everyone wants to clean up and go home, but I knew what I was getting and where it was. FIVE staff in less than a minute told me they were closing, one said 5 minutes, one said 3 minutes, two agreed on one minute, and one just said they were closing. Dagger eyes from each staff, and all I wanted was jam and pickes. I wasn't even in the store for 5 minutes!!!

Time before that, I went in to get an advertised deal in the flyer, was told I couldn't get the item I wanted because they were doing inventory. So one employee told me to get a rain check from the till, and the cashier told me she couldn't give me a rain check because they had the item in the back but couldn't access it. I had to pick up my son from play school, so I left and came back, they said they couldn't bring the item out at all until the inventory count was done. SO I HAD TO COME BACK A THIRD TIME to get the deal and product I wanted ON THE SAME DAY.

I will stick to price matching at Save-On-Foods. Friendlier staff and better selection.

I am quite disappointed that there is an unwritten policy that discounted items are final sale. This was not indicated on the sticker nor on the receipt, though gift cards and seasonal items were indicated to be final sale on the receipt.

We wasted 20 minutes of our time, just wanting our money back for a pizza that was not yet past its best before date, but the ham on 1/4 of the pizza had already turned grey.

I understand there are risks with clearance items, but an item being visibly inedible (once the packaging is removed) should not be one of them, especially when the item is still at its best before date.

I am very disappointed. Going forward, I no longer plan to use Freshco as my main source of groceries, despite the service and products being great previously, as I do not feel like I can trust the quality of products nor Sobey's willingness to correct a small occasional error.

Yes I had a issue with Nescafe tasters choice instant coffee the can was only half full ,the BATCH OF THAT COFFEE HAD ISSUES AT THE PLACE WHERE IT WAS MADE !at first the store employee didn't understand, was told to contact manufacture, did sent photos of can .after that I call the store and were very understanding and did replacement it ,very happy great customer service ,will definitely be back again THANKS

I really like going to this store, staff are really nice and even the loss prevention guy who usually takes care of the store , always wears a black leather jacket, helped take my groceries out. You can usually find some good products on sale.

“Lowest price guaranteed” what a joke, refuses to price match to their own company which makes absolutely no sense and refused to price match chicken I wanted the other day even though it was compliments brand which is owned by Sobey/Freshco. When I messaged customer service regarding it they brushed past the chicken issue and only “addressed” the complaint about Sobeys price matching which they didn’t even explain at all. Just find it incredibly misleading that they’re willing to advertise so boldly that they have the lowest prices but really don’t when it comes down to it.

Not to mention when my partner and I first started going there the loss prevention person would follow us around like a hawk and I’m 80% sure it’s because my partner is not white. He had to calm me down from asking for a manger after the guy followed us around for over 30 minutes. Absolutely freaking ridiculous, sure watch us for 10 minutes tops and move on, don’t target people based on racism.

I’m reconsidering shopping there going forward.
