Maureen is the cashier who goes out of her way to make the customers feel like they came to the right store. She converses easily and is professional while meeting each customer’s needs on an individual basis.

⭐ Poor Customer Service – Rude and Inconsiderate Cashier

My recent experience at this Freshco location was extremely disappointing. The cashier (a young woman) did not greet us, rushed through scanning our items, and after we paid, she walked away to assist another customer in a different line - leaving us waiting for our receipt. When I had to ask for it, she responded in a rude and condescending manner, with no apology.

Even other customers in line were frustrated, especially since the store was closing soon, and she held everyone up unnecessarily. Instead of acknowledging the inconvenience, she dismissively said, "Good night," with no remorse.

Customer service should be respectful and efficient—this was neither. I hope management addresses this issue, as it reflects poorly on the store.

It's a grocery store but I have a gripe with it. I saw they had their Complements baby food packs at $1 a piece which is a pretty good price so I bought 15 of them just to watch them ring up as $1.39. I didn't have the heart to ask for a correction as there was a line and I was with my toddler (I also bought a variety of flavours so it would have been a mess to sort out). If the price on the shelf isn't what's charged I'm not sure I can trust any prices here and not sure I can go back.

Today around 7 pm, I was in the left lane in the cashier ( I didn’t know it was for 10 items or less). The cashier was an Indian lady, when she finished scanning my items she started to yell in a rude way: if I see you another time here I will not serve you, this is for 10 items.
First I didn’t know about this lane because usually I don’t shop from Frescho. Secondly, she should be more polite in informing me about this lane.

Produce is usually fresh. More expensive than Walmart where I usually go, but produce doesn't have to be eaten the same day or tossed out. Always friendly cashier's at BC location.
