Le rayon viande de provenance locale est de qualité. Les fruits et légumes aussi, c'est vraiment appréciable. Comme les plats traiteur à l'assiette, très succulent et équilibrés !

“Great service, but packaging left me cold ❄️”
Went in for custom wild game cutting and was impressed by the beautiful store, friendly staff, excellent pricing, and quick turnaround. The maple breakfast sausage was pretty tasty, though the maple flavour was subtle to nonexistent. However, the packaging was a letdown—the 25lbs min of sausages were frozen in Styrofoam and cellophane, making them prone to freezer burn(photo attached of when I received them) Other cuts were fairly loosely wrapped in UNLABELLED butcher paper, leaving me guessing what cut was what. A better conversation with the butcher might have helped, so I can take partial blame. But thought their “standard” would be better. Despite these issues, I’d consider returning for the service and value.

I recently took my kids to pick up some groceries to make breakfast at home, however, they convinced me to get breakfast at their restaurant instead.

We ordered one of each of their breakfast options, one of which was called the Bus Driver's special. The eggs were made fresh however you wanted (scrambled, over easy, etc ) after ordering. We were told to choose two slices of bread, which there were 4 varieties, which we toasted ourselves. The only thing I was surprised to see was that we were able to pick them out of the breadloave bags ourselves and that no tongs were available to do so. The breakfast potatoes were delicious and well seasoned, as were the breakfast sausages. We all found the bacon to be extremely salty and the flavour was not to our liking. Coffee was also included, but my kids were offered tea or hot chocolate instead, and we all know which one they jumped all over. Overall it was a tasty breakfast.

It's a beautiful store that carries many items you might not be able to find elsewhere. They also source a lot of items locally within Alberta which is nice. It's also convenient to be able to grab something anytime as they are open 24 hours. The store is always clean and tidy. I enjoy getting a whiff from the smokehouse located inside the store, along with the restaurant and the bakery. The prices are a little more expensive for some items I find, but nothing too crazy. It's also the closest grocery store to Westpark.

I came up to FS for a work get-away and to visit a friend. I had just spent 12 hours writing papers and went here with my friend for some last minute items/treats before the next day. The attention to detail and service from the staff and even security was amazing. Cindy was so lovely and showed us all the deals and even took the time to wrapped our baby breath with such care. I don’t think Cindy realized what her kindness meant us. This place is so wholesome, I cannot wait to come back.

Great locally owned grocer with an amazing butcher, baker, and pizza maker! Their sourdough is a staple in my house. Good looking selection of locally grown produce. Some of the best tasting beef you’re going to get anywhere, from a knowledgeable group of butchers. The pizza from here is delicious, whether you get it baked fresh there, take home and bake yourself, or grab a couple slices and a bevy before shopping. Prices on items from name brands can be a bit higher than other places, but watch for sales. Friendly, helpful staff throughout the store remind shoppers that fantastic customer service isn’t a thing of the past.

I was hoping to send the manager a personal email but I see my options are limited so I am leaving a review. I do shop frequently at the Fort Saskatchewan location but this evening I was appalled at how the store was being operated. I was in the store on Sunday evening @ 7:15 pm to pick up a few things and when I went to checkout I found that there was only ONE till open. The cashier named Alex was on his own and unable to get any more cashiers as none were available. There was a line up of more than 15 people and Alex did an admirable job of handling the backlog with a smile. Considering what you charge for your wares, your management should be able to hire more staff to handle the customer demands. As someone with a background in customer service I must say I was disappointed in Freson Bros. I expected more for a locally owned franchise.

I have a hard time with the grading of their beef cuts. From what I have seen, They are all rated AA/AAA. Triple A is obviously a higher grade (the cows are younger for one thing) They have to be one or the other. They can’t be both. Their sale prices on steaks etc aren’t that good if the meat is AA, but good prices for AAA. It would be nice if they would respond to my review. When I asked the butcher about it, he told me that I needed to talk to management. Talking now.

My favourite grocery store in Fort Sask. The butcher shop is great, good cuts and always fresh. Produce is always fresh and often local (when in season). Also, I love all the gluten-free and specialty items.
