Picked up 6 ladies yesterday. Everyone I dealt with were pleasant enough. The office was clean and accessories like feeders and waterers are reasonably priced. The girls were a bit stressed out, who can blame them
 but I still got an egg the following morning đŸ‘đŸ„š

Horrified today when I picked up my long awaited Buff Brahma rooster and two hens. 35 degrees, picked up an hour after they were delivered to Sharpe, Mill Road, Guelph, in 35 degree heat.
No water, chickens in all orders very lifeless.
I opened my box to find dead rooster, stiff as a board, one pullet barely holding on and the other gasping for air.
I took the two pullets home, 4 hours later still trying to revive one, the other seems ok.
This is criminal, should never have been delivered in this heat, as pick-up stores do not have the facilities to look after them correctly.
I demanded healthy replacements, and better get them, otherwise I will report this as animal abuse.

I've purchased hens from Frey's for the last few years and they have always been great quality. This year, one has a severe cross beak. I was shocked they still sold her. “Lip” will live out her days here

I want to be able to give them a good review, however I've tried contacting them via phone number to go straight to a dial tone.

And tried contacting them via email, because I would love to order chickens both ready to lay and day old chick's. With no luck or communication im return.

Great poultry when you get what you want. Horrible customer service. Had a problem with my order the other year and they took my info and I sent them pics but they never got back to me about anything. Just got some chicks a week ago and have taken very good care of them and have had 3 die so far for no reason. Just out of the blue.

I purchased ready to lay pullets of azure blue and they are timid personality and have been laying eggs consistently since I put them in the truck to bring them home. They are mixing in great with our existing flock and I will definitely be returning for more birds in the future. These ladies also took right to free range and don’t venture far from the coop.
