One of my favorite cafés in Yellowknife. While I haven’t tried every drink on the menu, both their coffee and tea have been consistently great. I especially enjoyed the brown sugar milk tea—I’ve had it multiple times and highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

The warm and inviting atmosphere, along with the friendly staff (who I believe are a couple—apologies if I’m mistaken!), made spending an afternoon here a delight. My only minor complaint is that seating can be a bit limited, but overall, it’s a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy a good drink.

정말 좋은 곳인데 한국인 리뷰가 많이 없어서 아쉽네요. 사장님이 친절하셔서인지 동네 주민들도 자주 찾아와 앉아 있으면 로컬 분위기가 물씬 납니다. 한식당과 가까우니 식사 후에 한 번 들러보시는 것도 좋을 것 같아요. 즐거운 여행 되세요!

The service is outstanding. They make clients feel welcome, comfortable and acknowledged. I have bought on several occasions and they never disappoint. The drinks are very nice and they also accommodate dietary needs which I loved. The food is soft and always leaves you craving for more. I especially recommend the butter bun and raspberry filled bun. Space is always kept clean and music sets a happy mood.

If you ever find yourself wandering around downtown Yellowknife and craving artisan breads or boba tea, From Scratch Bakeshop and Boba is a fantastic spot to satisfy your cravings.

They offer a great selection of boba teas, and I especially enjoy their brown sugar milk tea. Their baked goods are also worth trying—my personal favorites are the curry bread and the ham and cheese croissant.

While the prices might seem a bit high at first, they are quite reasonable when you consider the cost of ingredients and the challenges of running a business in downtown Yellowknife. For the quality of their products, I believe it’s a fair deal.

One thing to be aware of is that the area occasionally has individuals who may be disruptive, which can make the experience less comfortable at times. Because of this, I sometimes opt for delivery instead. However, this is more of a general downtown issue rather than a reflection of the shop itself.

Overall, From Scratch Bakeshop and Boba is a great place for quality baked goods and drinks, and I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

Literally the best restaurant/cafe in the city of Yellowknife. We’ve stayed in the city for a couple days and were constantly discouraged by the disappointing restaurants in the city. Not until we found From Scratch we finally found some kind of hope in the food scene. The place is located right opposite to the post office, a very convenient location in the downtown. This place offers bread and tea/milk tea that gives a perfect Asian vibe. We got the butter roll bread, custard bread, Vietnamese coffee, and brown sugar milk tea. All lf them were beautifully made to order. Highly recommend to visit!

来到加拿大旅游这么多天，终于喝到好喝的拿铁了！！！从温哥华到班夫一路过来的咖啡店基本都是只能点美式，黄刀这终于喝到我来十天最好喝的拿铁！！！感动，还有黄桃酥也很香很好吃，幸福的味道。
