We are in flowers and plants business since 2019. We bought this year from Gaia a lot on seeds on line , we planted already some onion seeds and flowers ( indoor tent with control humidity temperature and light) and unfortunate germination rate is zero. We still have so manny to plant but now we are concert for rest of them .

...............There is no date on the seeds envelope to tell how old are ........!!!!!!!!!!!

Usually we bought from Johny Seeds and Rare seeds with over 90% germination.

I have been ordering Gaia seeds for a couple of years now, and I recommend them to all of my gardening friends! The variety is truly amazing, and everything germinates as expected. Some of my favourites have included their Scarlet Runner Pole Beans (which grew to the second floor balcony!) and ground cherries.

I was introduced to Gaia last year by a friend and decided to buy a few plants. Not only were the plants beautiful and healthy, but the advice I received was incredibly helpful and encouraging. Thanks to their guidance, I’ve become a repeat client—and more than that, a true gardener! I started with a small 4x4 garden, and I’ve now expanded it to eight times the size. Gaia Organic Seeds has one of the largest varieties of organic and heirloom vegetables I know. I also love that they’re so close by and a small, local business. The prices are good and the selection is vast.

The seeds and plants perform well in my climate (zone 5). The sunchokes I bought from Manish last year were insane. They grew to be over 6 feet tall. Yield was impressive, to the point that I couldn’t eat them fast enough before they went bad. We also purchased a cucamelon plant, an interesting black goji berry plant, tomatoes, peppers and garlic. Manish is friendly and very passionate about what he does. I’ll be back again in the spring.

I have a large (for a city backyard) vegetable garden and half of my vegetables are sourced from Gaia organics. great rates of germination and fantastic vegetables to harvest. love this beautiful operation and appreciate the people who run it.

They have a wide variety and kudos for their selection and values, but that's about it.

My order took a long time to ship, and something I wanted was OOS. Staff did suggest an alternative. I understand this is a smaller operation though.

The seeds did not germinate despite all efforts. By comparison, my seeds from OSC sprouted within a couple of days! As someone mentioned, there were no dates on the packaging so who knows how old the seeds are and how they were stored.

Their seedling collection is impressive, many varieties you won't find elsewhere. Quite frankly though, overpriced unless you are looking for something super special.
