I highly recommend heading out to Gathered and Grown Family farm. They provide so many different options of times to explore. My children and I have attended their summer “farm school” program and have absolutely loved each week. My son has helped feed animals, hold animals and learn about what it takes to meet their needs. We have explored different ecosystems of animals. We have also had many opportunities to try gardening and using all of our senses in the garden. Suzanne is extremely kind and understanding. She is patient and understands different children and the different needs they may have. I have also enjoyed meeting other families, learning about Alberta’s farming community, as well as learning about some key topics when it comes to raising a family.
We will definitely be coming back each summer.

Our kids have had the opportunity to spend 1-2 days per week with Suzanne and they are excited to go everytime. Suzanne does a great job getting to know each child at farm school and gets them trying new things. Since my kids have started, I have also learned a lot from Suzanne from farm stuff to problem solving with our kids she is absolutely outstanding at what she does.

I had the great opportunity of being here for a day and I would recommend this program to anyone and everyone! There is plenty to learn and there are hands-on activities to participate in, as well as play stations. The family hosting the program is the sweetest. 🥰 (There are also ice cream treats for sale!)

We were invited to hear Hearts for Harps and it was a magical night. Very family oriented with lots of small animals and a musical duck to add to the fun.
