I made my order online and I had a really good experience. My plants came quickly and were in a good state. Although one of them had bugs (it's quite common in hibiscuses to be fair), the others were beautiful. I even had some with flowers or new growth. The prices are reasonable as well.
To sum everything up, I would recommend this shop for anyone looking to purchase plants online.

My first purchase ONLINE from Geoponics was 3 orders 1) Acrea Palm 2) Snake Plant 3) Prayer Plant. I was pretty satisfied with the product although the Snake Plant came a bit deformed and the soil was nearly completely spilled out of the pot due to poor packaging. I emailed customer service, but in the end with a bit of TLC (snipping, repotting, cleaning) – all was good. Although I was not 100 percent satisfied with my purchase I decided to give Geoponics another try and purchased an OVERPRICED Pepperomia Watermelon house plant. My mistake !

To my horror, the plant came in a very unhealthy state and was literally rotting and falling apart. A simple touch or shift of the foliage resulted in pieces of it falling apart. It was quite evident, that it was much too ‘dead’ and couldn’t be restored. I was very disheartened that the company would send me a dying and perhaps diseased plant. Although I did not expect that plant to be perfect, the plant was is a complete eye sore and should have never been sold to me – again the plant in its entirety was rotting. I also paid full price for shipping. After reviewing their return policy, I have learned that 1) I have to ship the dying plant back which would cost me money 2) they also aren’t accepting returns at this time due to Covid – 19. At this point, the plant is too dead to propagate, and I am just going to discard it in my green bin which is very disappointing.

My honest review is that you don’t buy your plants online, I only did so as plant stores WERE closed due to Covid-19. Visit your local plant nursery there are plenty of them. You will find the plants a lot cheaper, quality and quantity would be better, and customer service would also be more customer centric.

Although I like my first order from this company, I certainly won’t be making any additional orders after this recent experience.

Response to owner: Yes, I did. Multiple times. Then someone named Sophie said that unless this review is deleted, I will not receive any new plants and, of course, no refund. I just couldn't understand why there is such a condition? Also, about the new plants, she couldn’t even guarantee that they would not come in similar conditions.

Review: This is the first time I am ordering from Geoponics - maranta, rosso and a polka dot plant. All of then came wilted, bent and with broken leaves. It was a sad sight. However, the worst was the polka dot plant with rotten leaves falling off everywhere.
When I reached out to their customer care, their reply was if they die after a week, we will replace it. So basically, I spent my money to buy these rotten and wilted plants and they are not going to take any responsibility for this.

Shafi was very welcoming and helpful as soon as I came into the store. No appointments needed, you can walk right in and shop! Various plants, even arranged ones and a great selection of pots at affordable prices! Will certainly come back for my plant needs! 🙂

The plants were delivered to my door...in a cardboard box. It was thrown sideways on my front door. Also, upon opening, it was stuffed with craft paper, and taped in more craft paper, and the soil had managed to cover the bottom of the box ( most likely as a result of shipping).

The Stromanthe Triostar was planted on the edge of the pot. The Pilea was planted in a pot with no drainage holes. Seeing as how these are tropical plants, it didn't occur to the packer to place them in a clear plastic bag to retain its humidity. The packaging and the way the plants were potted indicates inexperience and poor care and attention to plants.

Personally, I would not shop here again nor would I recommend this place to others. Ever.

However, the plants seem to have "survived" the transit.

I've experienced better service and delivery from other sources with attention to careful handling, and this is my first time ordering from Geoponics. Perhaps my expectations were too high or perhaps this establishment only aims for "good enough".

If you're in the GTA, and want to get your money's worth for better quality of customer service, packaging, delivery and healthier plants, go to JOMO Studios in Toronto or GroForIt in Milton.

Really wanted to like this place, as the selection of the store is quite decent and most stuff they listed online were in stock. Extra star for this reason alone.

The shopping experience here however was less than stellar:

1) When paying via Apple Pay/google pay, the website automatically chose “shipping” even though in the contact form the “pick up in store” option was checked. After messaging the support regarding this issue, I was told that my order would be ready to pick up in 2 days time. Showed up in store on the day of the pick up, was told that actually, none of the order was ready as they were still frozen. The associate promised to waive shipping cost (even though shipping was already paid). The shipping cost was never refunded.

2) As a regular plant shopper on Etsy, the condition of the plants I received via shipping were probably the worst. The 2” succulent pots were all spilled, and some of the plants squished (see pictures). The 3.5” peperomia and pilea plant had several fallen leaves, and some leaves are charred in the center/around the edges (see pictures). I’ve had several plants shipped from overseas or out of province this winter, none had the issue I see with Geoponics. I suspect that some of the damage seen here was frost damage, and not shipping damage as the plants were shipped/picked up within a day (heat pack included).

3) besides the quality of the plants, an item was missing from my order. I reached out to costumer support immediately, no response.

In the future, please help your customers when they reach out. Based on my experience, I can only tell others to avoid Geoponics.

Edit 1: echoing one of the other reviews on the variety of the “assorted” plants. I ordered 5 “assorted” succulents, and was really disappointed to have received 4 identical haworthia at different stages of growth. The website also does not let you choose what to include in your “assorted” order. If you are planning to order one of their bundles/assorted plants, be prepared to receive identical species.
