I'm tempted to keep my love of Georgie's a secret but coming in from a rainy night camp at chain lakes park, we arrived a bit prior to their opening and there were people already waiting at a table. We ordered a full breakfast with eggs, toast,ham and bacon. And carrot cake, blueberry lemon cake, breakfast pie and chai latte. We ate the cakes first...i don't usually go for cake but these were so tasty: the icing was light, creamy and buttery, the breakfast pie was like a muffin but with a croissant style bottom with an omelette like center and shredded potatoes on top. The chai latte was huge an perfect, not too sweet. The breakfast might've taken the cake as the bacon and ham were sogood...not like any I've had, tasty, not too salty or heavy, the meat seemed healthy and clean....we had to come back the next day for more. A true gem in the middle of the south. All the staff seemed polite, friendly and kind.

Cute little Cafe, very well air conditioned! Had a delightful Orange Poppyseed cake and a Flat white. Clean, comfortable environment. Friendly staff. A great selection of food and treats.

In 19 years of living in Alberta, this has to be the best coffee I've had here! Being from Melbourne, Australia, the land of coffee snobs (a point of pride for many of us), I have struggled to find a good latte or flat white, that wasn't too milky, or not hot enough, or using a poor bean selection.
BUT Georgie's has nailed it! Now it might have something to do with at least one person there being from Aus as well, and knowing a good cup of coffee, but all the more reason to visit!
Plus, the caramel slice, a taste of home, was unbelievable.

The little Aussie decos and stunning brick building reminded me of home, *fighting back tears* it was just a top notch visit all round.

We were surprised and delighted to find this gem while travelling from Lethbridge to Calgary. Surprised because the staff and food is excellent in this charming cafe.
Delighted because there is an Aussie vibe to it and being an Aussie I could get a great meat pie and a wonderful coffee with a generous slice of delicious orange poppy seed cake.
They also serve pavlova, caramel slices and vanilla slices, things that I grew up eating and quite nostalgic to Aussies.

I went here for lunch. This is a cute little cafe in Nanton. The decor and atmosphere are country style and casual. The staff were super friendly and the service was quick.

I had the sausage roll. The flavour was great.
It was a little dry, but I enjoyed it and would recommend it.

One thing that bothered me were the flies, which seemed to be everywhere. There were bins of dirty dishes in bussing bins at the door which probably didn't help.

Having said this, I appreciate this is a locally owned small business and it was obvious that they cared about their customers.

1st review of the new location? Same excellent food & coffee. Same big smile behind the counter. HUGE improvement in the cozy atmosphere of the sitting area. Clean large bathrooms, Georgie's was already my favorite stop in Nanton, and now that I know that "the locals" can sneak in a bit before 7am... I will be back 🙂

Mind blowing place, amazing atmosphere and ambience, this is what an ideal cafe looks like 😍 4.9 due to limited food options especially for vegan/vegitarian but making it 5 star because of the extremely clean restrooms. I saw few board games options too 😁. Overall, an amazing vibe, food, and ambience.
Tip: don't forget to ask for their speciality coffees. 😉
