This is a wonderful park that has a mostly flat walk. It has wide paths and is a leisurely 30 minute walk. There are benches for resting and public washrooms. There is also a parking lot. There are lots of trees 🌲 that have been planted by the previous owners, also a nice pond. There is a wonderful story to the property. Definitely worth the visit.

Godwin Preserve is a gem of find in Surrey. It's a fine and quiet, contemplative space where one can enjoy peace and quiet. Emphasis on one because, for its size, trails are short and sweet and no dogs are allowed. There is a large pond with wooden shaded walk bridges at its inlet and outlet, and there is a rest area with 2 benches overlooking the small placid water. No space for a picnic, but ideal enough for a sit-down and a sandwich while looking at dragonflies flitting around. Please bring your garbage with you as this is a wildlife preserve. I saw koi and swordtails in the pond likely dumped by unscrupulous people thinking to do nature a favor. Please don't do that. Overall, it's my new favorite place for personal reflection. Parking space for about 20 cars. There is a disabled spot, but it's not wide.

Nice park. Better to go at evening. Washroom available. Dogs are prohibited. There is a small lake. You can see several fruit trees and birds here.

Huge variety of coniferous trees and even a small orchard.
Pets and bikes are prohibited
There’s one washroom/outhouse
It’s tucked away and hidden amongst the suburbs.
Really quaint place to sit, walk stroll,contemplate life decisions.

Lovely little park. Very tranquil and well away from major roads. Makes for a nice 30 minute stroll, perfect for some quiet contemplation or a family picnic.

Note: Dogs are not allowed in the park and this is well sign posted.

A newly opened park on land donated by my neighbour, the late Dr. Godwin. This park is beautiful all year, but I especially love walking though here right after a snow. The evergreens look gorgeous dusted with fresh snow.
