I must have had a very different experience than all the people who are rating five stars because I have tried to book grooming with this place a couple times and every time I call the woman who answers is so incredibly rude. Though most of these reviews look like they are from friends. I'm sorry but I wouldn't recommend this place. There are other places in the area to groom your dog where you will receive much better service.

I am so tired of receiving poor customer service and blatant rudeness for that matter from service providers here in the South Shore. I was looking to groom my dog so I called and asked if they groom dogs like mine and if they could do something to get out all the coats she was shedding. She said that is something she does so I asked what she charges for service like that. She then went on to scoff and say I can't tell you that. I was totally confused and asked you don't have an hourly rate or anything like that? And she said I can't tell you what it would cost until I see your dog and see if it's madded and see what kind of condition it's in. I said well I can promise you she is well cared for and not matted but I do understand that. So can I please book an appointment with you. She agreed though still being quite rude to book the appointment and told me to come at 9:00 a.m. on a specific day. I arrived at 9:00 a.m. knocked on the door. Waited in the driveway. Looked at the house called the phone and no one answered. She just didn't show up to the appointment and I don't know if she was hiding in her house so she wouldn't have to talk to me. But there were definitely people home they wouldn't come to the door. As a person who understands how to run a business, I am totally flabbergasted by not just this businesses actions but others locally who think that there is no need for them to provide good customer service because we are in a small area with little competition. Well I usually don't post negative reviews and less something is really appalling. This time I am taking the time to do so because I am so tired of this kind of treatment from small town service providers in our area. So if you want good customer service and you want to be treated with respect don't give this place your business for grooming or for buying a dog.

A friend of ours owns this business. We have one of her babies (dog). She also helped us adopt a rescue dog. She grooms both of our fur children and does an excellent job. Her dogs have sweet personalities. Highly recommend her/them if you are looking to add a fur baby to your family or if you need an experienced groomer.

Jane was absolutely incredible with our new Cocker Spaniel puppy. Her experience in the field shows as soon as you walk in. I learned more today from taking our pup to get a trim then I have any other time during the past 8 weeks. I highly recommend Goldwater Kennels!!

The dogs were very friendly and playful, and i got too off her dogs and there really well trained. they are also Very very cuddly. I would definitely buy another Portuguese water dog from her again. She also does boarding at her location.

My woofer gets so excited when we pull in the driveway. Gets a nice fresh trim and bath and a new bandanna !!!!
