In 2021 we spent a great deal of time and money re-doing our yard. By fall 2023 I regretted all of it. My wife convinced me that we should use grassroots service this summer. I just shut off the lawnmower to type this, because I have put in very little effort, and our grass is nicer than the day I laid out 3200 square feet of new turf. We purchased the 4 treatment option and I am blown away how well it has worked. 10/10 recommended.

Easy to book and schedule. Came to service our yard (e.g., fertilizer and herbicide application) for the first time but won't be having them back. It will take hundreds of dollars and many hours to undo the damage that was done. All the clover that we have been working to grow in all the places we can't get grass to grow was killed. Now approximately half of our back yard is actively dying. I expect a company for any job to consult with the client, especially on a first visit, to make sure the scope of work is properly understood prior to undertaking any work. Words of advice: Make sure you properly communicate what you want with Grassroots, my neighbours across the street have been using Grassroots for years and seem to love them.

2024 is the first year we have decided to make use of Grassroots' services. After only 2 applications this season, our lawn looks as good as ever! 10/10 Would recommend and continue to use at this point.

I love this companies business "organization systems", ie.. early season renewals incentives and really great communication from the offices team on when they are coming via texts but hate that every year they seem to be way way too busy for my home in Aberdeen, by the time they make it to my yard, it is way way too late. Example... This fall 2023 Season, my yards irrigation was long since drained because it was getting cold and the final fertilizing service wasn't done just like the year before that. Finally it got done, and I had to manually water it in. Probably a complete waste but I had no other option.
I appreciate they are busy with is great especially in todays market but if you make agreements to do something, and have people that pre-pay for the service then I have to expect they deliver. "DO" what you say you are going to "DO" !!

Sadly after a loyal three years with this company, I find myself shopping around looking at switching this year to an untested company.
Its really sad as they seem like good people, the chemicals they use are great, easy payment options, easy communications via text a day before they come but just can't deliver on time.
I have talked to my neighbours and sadly alot of them feel the same way.

Had one application in July. Initially much of the yard seem to turn brown, but that was just the clover dying off that was choking out the grass ; didn’t notice much of a difference until about 4 weeks couldn’t believe how thick and green the grass was. And this is after almost the entire summer with inadequate irrigation. Be getting 2-3 sprays next year 🙂

We have uses their services for years. And they are great 👍 After we built our house 20yrs ago the hill behind our house was just weeds. After a couple of painful years of cutting down and pulling weeds we tried Grassroots and with their help the grass was able to take over and the weeds quit taking over

Grassroots works wonders! Even after one application, a significant difference was noticed in the health and appearance of my grass. Greatly reduced the amount of dandelions and other weeds as well. Very good customer service and organized staff as well.
