We got our Bernedoodle from Green Acres in 2023 and she is the sweetest! The process was smooth and easy - good communication, video/photo updates and clear instructions. We are so happy we got our girl from Green Acres and would highly recommend! Can't imagine life without her!

I adopted a former Green Acres mother dog from a rescue shelter last fall. She was the most fearful and traumatized dog I've ever met, cowering to the ground when I tried to pet her. I was shocked by her behaviour, and emailed the Green Acres owner, Donnie, asking if he could explain why she behaved so fearfully and submissively, and why she ended up at a rescue shelter. He did not reply. My relative adopted another Green Acres mother dog from the same rescue a few months earlier, and she describes her dog's behaviour as traumatized as well.
I think that anyone who genuinely cares about their animals would be horrified to learn that their animals ended up at a rescue shelter in such a terrible state. Green Acres never replied to me.

I was lucky enough to welcome a Green Acres pup into my life in January. Milo is a delight - smart, curious and with the sweetest temperament. It was a pleasure to deal with the team at Green Acres and cannot recommend them enough. Milo is a part of our family and I do not know what we would do without him!

I can’t say I had a great experience with this breeder. He seemed extremely busy and would frequently not answered my texts. Video/picture updates were supposed to be sent every couple of weeks but I always had to remind him and wait a day or two after.
When we finally got our retriever, we discovered he has a terrible heart condition (which is genetic). I’m a nurse and I could actually hear his abnormal heart beat just being next to him. If this breeder’s puppies are vet checked, they would have without a doubt known there was something wrong. Yes, puppies can have heart murmurs that grow over as they age, but I believe this is something the breeder should have disclosed to us when we picked him out.
After paying thousands of dollars in vet fees to determine the severity of the issue and if he could have surgery or be neutered, I asked the breeder to at least partially refund me for the vet bills. He refused to do so and offered another puppy instead. I had to wait and think about this for a while, since I didn’t really want to get another one from him. I also wasn’t sure if it was something I wanted anyway; I was still getting used to one dog. I eventually decided to do it, and it has been an awkward and difficult process. Needless to say I will no longer be going through with it. After these experiences, I would caution others with choosing this breeder.
Temperament-wise, my dog is an absolute sweetheart, with a surprising amount of energy considering his condition, although I’m not sure I can give all the credit to this breeder for that. I worked really hard to train and socialize him. But, if you are looking to get one of the types of breeds he offers in a hurry, don’t want to spend as much money, don’t mind if someone is terrible at communicating, and may not properly vet check/disclose information, then taking your chance here is probably fine, lol.

This breeder doesn’t not ask buyers or potential buyers any questions to see if they are the right fit. The website said the dogs are like family, how do you not interview buyers? Name and phone number doesn’t cut it. They always have puppies available. Two major red flags!!
