We were referred to Greenbay Northern by a family friend and could not be more thrilled with our choice to work with Siamak and his team in Summer 2022.

Ever since our first communications with Siamak, it was clear that he was incredibly passionate, professional & knowledgable in his craft. Siamak met with us numerous times to review landscape design options and consider materials even before formally committing to him. Considering all of these factors, we knew we could trust Siamak in delivering on the plan, timelines and price we agreed to.

Siamak and his team completely transformed our backyard from an unusable space into a professionally landscaped practical amenity area. They were thoughtful in the machinery they used for the job (based on our property size), worked full days, were respectful of our neighbours and always cleaned up before leaving each night. They removed large tree stumps, built new fences, regraded and re-sodded our backyard and built a large interlock patio in combination with a small retaining wall. If a change was ever required to the design, schedule or budget, Siamak was transparent and kept us well informed.

We’ve received numerous compliments from our neighbours and visitors and we couldn’t be happier with the job completed by Siamak and the team. The Greenbay Northern team goes above and beyond for their clients and we would gladly use them again and refer their services!

We had a raised interlock patio that needed to be redone due to a drainage issue in the backyard last year. It was hard finding a landscaper who had a good solution to our problem but with a lot of luck, we found Siamak from Greenbay Northern Ltd. on Google and looked at his reviews and figured we'd give him a call.

Siamak came and immediately earned our trust. He took precise measurements of our patio and lawn and came up with a detailed solution to our problem (including installing a french drain around the patio and sloping the patio towards the french drain). When Siamak and his team came to do the work, they were incredibly professional and had brought a lot of high quality machinery to help get the job done faster. Siamak was present to ensure that the job was being done correctly and was very active throughout the process. We also had the Greenbay Northern team re-sod our lawn as the lawn was in terrible shape. The outcomes were picturesque and we are so thankful to Siamak and his team for the amazing work. We have no more drainage issue now and the backyard looks incredible. We have also recommended Siamak and Greenbay Northern to our family and friends and the people we know who have used him have always been very happy with him and the high quality that he delivers.

Back in April 2022, I needed to widen my interior end-unit townhouse’s driveway in Aurora to accommodate a fairly heavy vehicle and to otherwise serve as a front patio and huge walkway. After getting some non-impressive quotes, I encountered Siamak’s crew and flotilla of Greenbay vehicles and equipment in the nearby neighbourhood working on a large home’s landscaping project. I was impressed with the vehicles, the uniforms, the orderliness and cleanliness of the site. I feared they were out of my league. I saw a gentleman walking away towards a pick-up truck and I pulled over and asked him if he was the estimator. It turns out he was the owner Siamak, and upon explaining my situation, he followed me to my nearby home to look at my site and needs. He instantly knew what I required and gave me a price that was a fair bit higher than the ones I had previously obtained. Upon researching the Greenbay company, and evaluating his explanations of the work methodology, I decided he was the man. He was local, well established, had related credentials, stellar reviews, and I was struck by his stressing the importance of the proper depths and compaction procedures required. He also spoke of the requirements of the nearby Sugar Maple tree and how it must be protected. This must have come from his expertise in botanical matters, as per his training, gardening experience and certifications. He was also an excellent, very polite and soft-spoken communicator. The work started exactly when scheduled in May 2022, with the materials being delivered just beforehand. Many neighbours gathered to watch and take pictures of the dig’s impressive depth and several rounds of compaction. The Greenbay crew was great, and the foreman Miad was a true craftsman, very meticulous with measurements, slopes, centrelines and stones pattern etc. The many hands-on visits by Siamak were really overkill, the project was in good hands with Miad. Two immediate neighbours were so impressed with what they saw that they both had their front and backyards done by Greenbay as well. Their reviews are also posted here. I was so happy with my driveway widening that I also chose to expand my project to include my entire backyard and 15’ 6” alley shared with my neighbour. The three homes turned out so nicely that work was subsequently done on several more in the immediate vicinity. Some also now have ongoing gardening maintenance contracts with Siamak, a testament to his continued availability and wide variety of services. As my project kept expanding, fully by my choice, Siamak was great to work with and very accommodating. He kept telling me “I want you to be happy with this.” Well, now two winters in at January 2024, the pride and joy has not worn off whatsoever, be it either being outside enjoying the beautiful backyard and its (Siamak recommended and designed) Japanese Garden, or merely looking out at it every single day through the windows. The parking pad out front is heavy-duty, no issues and very nice to look at. The before and after pics Siamak could show you are almost shocking. I have also led to Siamak having projects in Scarborough as well as with friends in Vaughan. You will not be disappointed with Siamak and Greenbay, you get what you pay for. It would be too costly to un-do and re-do a hack budget job, so “do it right” the first time. My only regret is that I wish I ran into him years earlier, it is like a new place to live in, a giant leap in enjoyment. I wholeheartedly recommend Siamak, Greenbay and the super-friendly crew.

I had Greenbay Northern landscape company install interlock paving for my driveway and step stones to front porch about 15 years ago back to 2009 and its almost about 9 years that we don’t live in that property any more the other day (June 2017) I was driving by and I am beyond impressed with the quality and durability of their work.
