Absolutely loved this place! The food was incredible—especially the Dhokla. OMG, hands down the BEST DHOKLA in the GTA. It was perfectly balanced—not too sweet, not too salty, just the way it should be. So soft and fresh!

Wait time wasn't too bad.. like 10-15minish... they also have sweets over the counter.. so i had those while i waited.

I also tried the Schezwan Momos—they were super spicy but packed with flavor. If you like a good kick, definitely try these. I ordered rice, veg balls, and naan as well, and both were cooked to perfection. Everything was fresh, tasty, and well-seasoned.

I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for flavorful, high-quality food!

We had an incredible dining experience at this Indian restaurant! From start to finish, everything was perfect.

For starters, we ordered momos, Schezwan noodles, Hakka noodles, gravy Manchurian, mango lassi, masala tea, and shikanji. Every dish was packed with flavor, served fresh, and piping hot. The momos were soft and well-seasoned, while the noodles had the perfect balance of spice and texture. The drinks were refreshing and authentic — the mango lassi was rich and creamy, and the masala tea had the perfect kick of spices.

For the main course, we enjoyed rawa onion dosa, paneer lababdar, sweet white gravy malai kofta, dal makhni, butter naan, and roti. Each dish was absolutely delicious! The dosa was crisp and flavorful, the paneer lababdar had a rich, creamy texture, and the malai kofta was wonderfully indulgent with its sweet, white gravy. The dal makhni was rich and comforting, and the naan and roti were soft yet perfectly baked.

On top of the amazing food, the service was fantastic. The staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured everything was served fresh and hot.

All in all, this is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants we’ve ever visited. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic flavors and excellent service!

The dosa was crisp and flavorful, and the aloo tikki chaat tasted great — though it could use more gravy, as it felt a bit dry. The paneer starter was good but could use more spices and better marination. Unfortunately, the ghevar was disappointing, but overall the food had nice authentic flavors.

The restaurant has a good ambiance. However, cleanliness is a major area that needs urgent attention. During our visit, we saw a centipede crawling from one couch backrest to another — an extremely unsettling sight.
Another concern was the behavior of the staff. The girl working the late evening shift on Saturday, August 30th, lacked basic courtesy when welcoming customers. Expecting everyone to speak the local language is unprofessional and makes the environment feel uninviting.
Hygiene overall was disappointing. The water bottle on our table had visible particles — possibly a food crumb — floating and sinking in it. The coriander used to garnish one of our dishes was visibly spoiled, with black and brown discoloration, yet it was still served. Even the spoons and forks were not properly cleaned — they felt sticky, discolored, and clearly unwashed.
Future guests please make sure you check the water bottle given to you and the spoon and fork when you arrive.

This is a casual friday kind of a place for Indian quick serve food. We ordered pani puri, sev puri, mango mastani and stuffed kulcha to dine in ; haka noodles, schezwan noodles, veg manchurian and assorted sweets to go.
The place was clean and the service was courteous. The taste of the food was spot on. Will definitely visit again.
Ideally the sev puri and the pani puri should have been served 1st along with the mango mastani but the mango mastani and the stuffed kulcha were served 1st and then the sev puri and pani puri. The paani of the pani puri was just incredibly spot on, very few places in GTA serve that. To be fair to the place, I did not mention the sequence i wanted the food served. Loved the mint infused water they serve. One gripe, request if they could serve that paani puri on a live counter, it would be justbgreat. Keep up the good work guys.. don't lose that chef. 😀

This place used to be great when it first opened, but quality has really dropped. We ordered Chinese Bhel, Tawa Pulav, and Cheese Butter Masala. Only the cheese butter masala was okay. The pulav quantity was too little for the price, and the Chinese Bhel was soggy with stale-tasting Manchurian balls and paneer. Very disappointing.

Extremely overpriced!!!
Check out the photos!
Charging $21 for Paneer Chilli dry, so not worth the price.

$18 for cheese Tava Paulo and you can see the container in which it came and the quantity you are getting.

OH AND TAVA PULAO WAS STALE AND TASTED SOUR!

Never ordering again!

Gwalia sweets are famous in Gujarat for dry snacks (farsan) and sweets. They have quite the variety of sweets available and special offers during festive seasons. I went here during Ganesh Utsav, sadly their modaks were sold out but their boondi laddo and mawa penda were delicious!!
