Was buying for the Richmond Inn Richmond tons and tons of poultry while I was the executive chef in the 80/90.s
Had the best service ever! reasonable price and excellent quality
today 2023 I am out of touch because left the mainland for international cruise lines for 15 years now retired .
the boss was that time an excellent man
probably now deceased.
Hopefully his great spirit still there 🙏 👍🏻

The owners are terrific to deal with! They have great products for the best prices. I've been purchasing chicken from them for years and I would never switch. I tried a couple other poultry plants a while back but I went running back to H&B.

H & B is a wholesaler for meat products. Their prices are half the price compared to the retail outlets. I've found their product fresh and of good quality even if I buy frozen. I usually buy Cornish chicken, lamb, and goat from there but they have many other products, I don't think they have pork as they designate their product halal. Staff is always helpful and informative. You can buy in bulk or small amount depends on the product. If you don't live closeby then better phone them first, sometimes they may be closed and you may not know.

Since they are wholesaler, they don't have any store front and don't expect beautiful decorated store, so for first time visitors it will be difficult to find where it is located. It is behind the strip mall area on Marine drive. You can enter the store's back side through Argyle st. There aren't any signs, right after entering Argyle turn left and keep driving all the way to the end, you'll notice a small sign on a back door saying h&b poultry. They have ample parking is there.

The best poultry and meat wholesaler in the city! Such an amazing facility, really great staff and fantastic product quality. The only place I will order my meat from; and they have halal product! So happy I found this gem - highly recommend.

I just moved to Vancouver a couple years ago and i've been searching for a place like this. I bulk ordered chicken and the quality was unbelivable. The owners were super nice as well. I live downtown, but it's definitely worth the trip. Enjoy!

Honestly?...I guess the people that wrote the good reviews, must be apart of the family?..
Because when I places , my order it wasn't what I received ?..And when I had called too see what happened they told me that it was my fault, and that I should place my order rite next time...I did not at all receive proper service ..Anyone who does order from here should properly check out what the receive...I WILL NEVER ORDER from here again...

I bought some chicken just about a month ago, the chicken had this horrible smell and I had to throw the whole thing away!!! Not happy about this at all!!! Fraser Health has to go and check this place out because im sure there are a bunch of health issues and health hazards.
