I live 4 hrs away and have access to any hay I need closer to home. I have bought hay from Peter for the last 2 yrs, and it is hands down the best feed I have gotten for my goats!! They love! Thank you Peter

Just wanted to leave a review for an awesome place, run by an awesome guy. Peter is one of the nicest, most genuine people I’ve met, and his farm produced milk is some of the best I’ve ever tasted. Loved every minute of my visit to HP Cattle!!

When we contacted Peter in this instance we needed hay last minute so to say. Add to that, We had trouble organizing someone to unload it at the other end which made it hard to get a pickup time. Through it all, Peter was patient and gave us the time we needed for organizing the whole thing so we were very thankful and relieved to get our hay! Peter is an exceptional machine operator. His bales are also exceptionally baled (no loose-flippy-floppy falling apart bales) which we have come across before. The bale we opened was nice clean hay without dirt and weeds which again we have come across elsewhere. All in all we would recommend him for all your hay needs. Thank you Peter!!

I originally gave 5 stars because I was told I would get a discount on product, and it’s higher end cost. The product is good, the service is painfully poor. Peter was very late for my feed pick up both times, and communication needs a lot of work. I had hired a driver as my truck was in service, and had multiple feed pick up appointments lined up that day. I prompted Peter multiple times as a reminder of our alfalfa pick up the day before to confirm, and multiple times prior to arrival. He ended up being so late (over an hour), that I had to cancel the next feed pick up (one tonne tote) missing out on feeding animals efficiently, having to still pay my driver for the time, and having to purchase small bags in my SUV at an astronomical cost. Peter’s response was this: that he forgot (after I had prompted him and reminded the day before, and multiple times that morning of my arrival), and that he had much bigger customers to deal with with larger orders, that he usually doesn’t only sell one bake at a time (even though he does cuz he DID, and had no qualms about meeting the second time, additionally we spoke about my animal needs from the beginning and decided the 32 ostriches would go through a bale a month), essentially saying I didn’t matter because I was only taking one large square of alfalfa. Needless to say, we severed the relationship and I gave him a piece of my mind 😉 Super disrespectful buddy.

I don't normally do reviews however Pete with H P Cattle has been nothing but fantastic. Not only is he incredibly fast at responding he loads so precisely that you're back on the road in no time. His facility is clean, and organized. Animals are taken care of above and beyond industry standards because he cares. He is an absolute pleasure to work with and I'd recommend him time and time again.

I have to say, its been a pleasure working with Pete this year! When he has had clients needing hauling of hay, he has given me the business!! He's always on time to load the trailer and friendly to deal with! Ive also hauled for Pete himself and that was just as efficient for unloading. I would recommend pete for any of your hay needs!
