We've been going to Halendas for a while now and I can't say enough good things about this shop. I haven't purchased meat at a grocery store in years, so always try to find a good butcher shop wherever I am.

As you can see from the photos, you can almost do a one stop shop here. They even have a selection of produce.

The prices are fair, they often have sales on their various products if you subscribe to their email list. The meat is always great quality of course.

The staff are super helpful and friendly as well. Shout out to Ken, he remembers us when we come in which is always nice. End up having a little chat every time we come to do some shopping.

Good customer service is hard to find these days and at Halendas you will be taken care of!

Great service, great product, great prices.

I come in here often for dinner inspiration but continue to come back for the people. Love love love Halenda's, especially the Taunton Road location. Ken makes every visit wonderful. He's always happy to help me out and even provides me with cooking tips when I ask.

If you can manage to come in when they have the Korean beef short ribs you MUST grab them! So. Good.

I picked up an Armadillo Egg on my most recent visit to Halenda's. If you're unfamiliar with this, as I was, it's not actually an egg. It's a jalapeno pepper, stuffed with cream cheese, and wrapped in sausage meat and bacon. How does that sound? Delicious, right?

The photo might be deceiving because this one weighed just over a pound. It was big! I cooked it in my air fryer at 400F for 18 minutes and made a simple gravy. It was delicious!

Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture once I sliced it open. Next time.

If you haven't been to Halenda's, don't wait any longer. They offer great cuts of meat, along with house-made ready-to-cook items, and other great products. Their specials are always priced just right. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

I had the pleasure of shopping at Halenda's Meats for Mother's Day yesterday, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! As soon as I walked in, the friendly atmosphere and neatly organized displays made shopping a breeze. I picked up some bone-in prime rib steak, Ruby bacon, peameal bacon, and kielbasa. The prime rib steak truly stole the show—remarkably tender and flavorful, it was a joy with every bite. This will be my go-to spot for meat shopping from now on. Additionally, I really appreciate their gluten-free section, which caters wonderfully to diverse dietary needs.Thank you, Halenda’s Meats, for serving this community in the right way.

Best in-house made deli meats, local cheeses, baked goods, and more. The staff are fantastic, as well. Polite, friendly, and helpful. Prices are also better than most around, even for better quality products. We're back time after time, and will continue the tradition!

I just left feeling confident that I made a good purchase for tomorrow’s dinner. I spoke with the owner on the phone briefly before coming into the store. He assured me that I would be provided with good options and instructions on how to cook the steaks! He suggested I talk to Chris who has quite a bit of expertise. Both gentlemen were very helpful and very patient while I was deciding. They also cut the steaks all the same size which was a bonus! I’ll never go anywhere else because they are always so helpful and I feel like I’m getting good value for my money. Thank you both for helping me today ?

We love this place and everyone who works here. At this point, we consider this our grocery store and shop here at LEAST once a week. The meat is top notch and once you try it, you won’t go back to regular grocery store options. Not only is it cheaper most times but the quality is unmatched. They also have lovely side dishes and an impressive grocery selection. Highly recommend
