I meant to write this review months ago, but late is better than never. Josh is the man! I hired him first thing in the spring to build a deck, a small fence, re-shingle a detached garage, and level/re-sod the back yard.
The whole project was finished within 2 weeks, and within budget.
His work is very very good and he is a pleasure to work with. Great attention to detail all the way down to the hardware on the gate he used.
I will be using Josh for everything on my property

Joshua did an excellent job installing our cobblestone driveway, walkway, stone steps and metal edging. He did the work in September 2020 and we get so many compliments! We love the metal edging that is naturally rusting that he suggested we do. He is amazing!

We hired Harbord Valley to do our front walkway and retaining wall. This was our first time hiring a contractor. Josh and his team Travis and Chris did an amazing job. Josh worked with us from the start on the design and materials, he was so helpful and was excited about the different materials and finding solutions for our project. Book him if you can get him! Josh and his crew are the best. He did our deck seven years ago and we couldn't be happier. Here's a photo of it new and it's held up very well. It makes summer so much more enjoyable, and winter, staring out at it from the kitchen, that much more painful.

My husband and I were looking to have a deck built this summer with the expectation that we probably wouldn't be able to find a contractor available to do the job before August. I started searching in our area and came across Joshua/Harbord Valley and was seriously impressed with the photos of his work. Joshua let us know he could have the deck completed before the end of April and we were thrilled. Communication was easy, he was super pleasant and the job was done quickly with no issues. We look forward to hiring him again soon to have him do some of his stellar hardscaping on the front of our house. Highly recommend!

Josh did such a wonderful job on our backyard! He came up with a lovely design, working in all the elements we were hoping to include. He had many suggestions to help us stay within our budget. He was on time, always very professional and very easy to work with. We were so happy with the final product! We had no hesitation referring him to friends. We would highly recommend!
