The Hardy Fruit Tree Nursery is the best! Their trees truly are hardy and grow beautifully. There have been a couple of times when I have reached out with a question or concern about their growth and I have quickly received a helpful and courteous answer. We planted our fruit trees in fall of 2018 and started enjoying our first apples last fall. They were definitely worth the wait and so much better than anything you can find in the grocery store.Thank-you for helping regular gardeners like us produce our own fruit!

Bought pear, plum and apples last year. Deer got to them last year but bounced right back this spring and some are even flowering making us pretty happy of what is to come in the next few years.

We bought trees here a few years ago. A couple didn't make it through winter but such is life in Canada - most of them survived and are growing well. I have e-mailed back and forth multiple times over the years with questions and they have always been helpful and provided useful advice to care for our trees. I'd definitely get more trees from them, if only I had the space!! 🙂

Great company with excellent customer service and great products. I bought apple and pear trees, within two weeks they had all their foliage and I got a follow up from the company they asked me how the trees were doing and if I had any problems with it. The trees are doing great even survived the big storm we had last week. Highly recommend this company and their products. Thank you for your service.

I am north of Gros Morne National Park and embarking on an apple and pear orchard. I bought 12 apple and 3 pear whips earlier this year. I planted them in mid- May. All 15 made it through their first summer. Several grew so much that I had to extend the chicken wire protection so moose couldn't eat them. Staff were helpful and friendly, and prices were fair. I will buy more next year. Highly recommended.

My trees arrived to Ontario on time, with no signs of stress or damage. The 12-18"' Butternut trees we easily 18" tall with thick trunks and the most extensive, lovingly handled roots. The roots are easily as long as the trunk, had not dried in transport and had all of the "hairs" still on them. I only wish I had more land to order more 🙂

Perhaps because Alberta is too far from Quebec and the root stock has been in the mail too long, my "trees" tend to be budding by the time I get them (I learned that they now have a cooler to keep the root stock dormant ). Although they have a replacement "guarantee", even the replacements may not make it through a hard winter (fortunately, they cared enough to reply to my review and are offering a replacement, as that is what they originally said, I will update when I receive the replacement next spring). Many of the trees planted may die back to ground level over winter. I had a 3 foot tall "replacement " butternut which finally came out from ground level ( since we had a great deal of rain). At least they care about you and will try to make things right.

This is the second year I've ordered from this nursery and I couldn't be happier. My trees from last year are all doing excellent and this years shipment came quickly and once again all of the trees are in great condition. Will definitely be back for years to come!
