What an amazing experience! The staff were so friendly and the veterinarian was super knowledgeable. I walked out feeling at ease and understood everything explained to me. The rooms are clean, modern, and equipped with toys and even the added touch of a heated blanket for your animal to settle in on. Our kitten Bruce loved the extra treats when he got his immunization and didn’t even cry or squirm. The veterinarian was gentle and kind. We will definitely be continuing our services at Heartland Fort Veterinary!

I already left a good review, but I wanted to leave a more detailed one about Dr Janes.

She is an incredible veterinarian and truly cares about her patients. I had such a nice visit with her today about my dog and her anxiety, fussy eating, diet and teeth. I requested the medical records from this visit to forward to the acupuncture place. Dr Janes listened to absolutely everything I said, and I talk a lot when it comes to my dogs. I was blown away by the detail and effort she made documenting my concerns. She’s very good at her job and so loving to my dogs.

I was recommended to see Dr Janes a couple years ago, and at first I suspected that I was paying less for services than what I paid in the past at other veterinary clinics. When she quoted me a basic dental procedure today, yes, they definitely charge less here than the other clinics I’ve been to in the past. Of course the price goes up if they need to make extractions, but I definitely paid more for basic dental elsewhere in the past.

Someone made a post in a Facebook group saying Dr Janes was leaving. So I phoned to see if this was true, and was told they recieved multiple calls that day asking the same thing. It looks like many people really like her, not just me. I was relieved to find out she wasn’t leaving.

Also, all her staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I’m always treated with kindness at this practice. I definitely recommend this clinic.

I would like to add that a staff member here went above and beyond to get me reimbursed for some glucosamine chews from the insurance company. I know this insurance company is very difficult to deal with and I’m sure all that extra work was a hassle. The money at the time was really helpful to me, and I appreciate it. I wish I remembered her name, but thank you so much!

The BEST vet in town. I own a dog related business in town and so many of our clients use Heartland Vet. I've emailed inquiring about dog lice in the past and they were quick to respond and give me all the info I needed. They are helpful, friendly, and they have so much compassion for our pets. I always recommend Heartland Vet!

Recently just had our first appointment with Dr. Janes and I am very happy with our choice to come to Heartland Vet. It can be hard to find a vet that is accommodating of giant breeds, and she was so gentle and caring with my gentle giant.
After past vet experiences, we were trying to find the best possible vet. Safe to say we will be using Heartland Vet from now on for all pets!

We had an excellent experience at the vet. We brought our puppy in for her shots and the front desk staff were very friendly. They got us back in a room quickly even though we were early. The veterinarian Dr. Janes was very nice and knowledgeable! She made our puppy feel very comfortable and answered all of our questions! I highly recommend this vet clinic!!

Dr. Janes is by far the most compassionate and empathetic vet my family and I have ever had. She took such great care of our two puppies - Daisy and Willow - and was always so happy and excited to see them. She treated us like family. Her kindness towards us will never be forgotten. Though losing a pet is difficult, let alone two in one year, Dr. Janes and the staff here made it a little bit easier. We cannot recommend them enough. It is exceptionally clear in everything they do that they care deeply about their patients and their people. Thank you, Dr. Janes, for taking such amazing care of our puppies.

We took in our two little dogs for dental work, our little Yorkie had a lot of teeth removed as their teeth don't last. Great job done by all. We were advised to change their food to Royal Canine Gastronal food because they both had gut problems. OMG, for the first time our dogs are whining for this food. Normally they ate once a day, now first thing in the morning they demand their Royal Canine. Thank you Dr. Janes and staff
