Great tennis courts, close to the recreation center with washrooms

I highly recommend Henderson's 9 hole pitch and putt. I went with a group of friends last weekend, our skill level ranging from beginner to advanced and we all had a good time. It is only $10 per person and took us about 2hrs, we did have a group of 8 people (split into 2 groups). You can rent clubs and balls, but I recommend bringing your own if you have them. My husband and I shared clubs and it was fine.
Keep in mind it's only $10, so the course is not in pristine condition.

Staff can be a hit or miss. We showed up late to our Covid tee time. There were empty slots before us and after us. The manager was quite adamant to come out and tell us that we were late and unfortunately she would not be allowing us to tee time. She gave us no options other then, “ you aren’t playing, please leave”. FORTUNATELY the front counter staff overheard our conversation and provided a solution! Go figure, a Clerk provided better costumer service and professionalism then her manager by identifying the problem and providing solutions. When i asked to speak to a manager to give the positive feedback for
for moving our tee time by 45 mins! That was so simple. It solved the whole issue and left all party’s satisfied. Its quite shocking that the manager did not communicate and provide alternative options like the front counter staff.

Great course, played it for over 20 years. Just wish management was a little more professional and considerate like the front desk staff.

gym is full of entitled and rude old people, and the staff aren't the nicest.
me and my roommates have been PAYING to use this gym for 6 (YES SIX) months and the more we go the worse the service continues to be. some of the front desk patrons are very rushed and unkind, and will stand and speak to friends/coworkers while we wait to pay for a pass/scan our passes--often longer than 3 minutes. i go to the gym to properly workout and strength train, which means i typically rest between sets for 2-3 minutes, as do my roommates. often times we take turns on one machine as to speed the process up, but other times we go individually and work out ourselves. when i go alone, i stay on the machine between sets and i play a dumb little game on my phone as i rest, just like EVERY OTHER PERSON UNDER THE AGE OF FOUR THOUSAND. twice (2x) this week i have had staff or other people come up to me and ask me to text somewhere else. a couple times someone will ask me how many sets i have left and i let them work in (we take turns) but more often than not, elderly people come up to me and are standoffish from the get go. i take maybe 7 minutes on each machine, you can wait or simply politely ask to work in. if you are going solely to run on the treadmill or take a class, it's a great gym. but if you're under the age of 90 then the staff/old rude people will probably try and diminish everything you do. no one respects any of the other people working out and they all have zero gym etiquette.

Wonderful location for Tennis or a 9-hole par 3 golf. The Golf terrain is well maintained but the holes are quite short so its perfect for a practice pitch and put .
Tennis has multiple courts (6) that can also be booked for reservations.

A nice community centre with plenty of activities. The scenery is great and the deer too.
