We DID buy all our dishes from HESCO. Why do you think we haven't bought anything more from this company after 4+ years? Our calls for assistance were ignored with other issues we had.

Today's experience at HESCO, particularly with Claude, regrettably merits a one-star rating, a first for us. Claude's demeanor was notably unprofessional and discourteous, a stark contrast to the expected hospitality standard. It's disheartening when staff, like Claude, seem indifferent to the company's reputation or the efforts of its owners, who invest considerable time and resources into their business.

Claude's interaction was marked by a stark lack of customer service. He not only showed dismissiveness but also hung up the phone on my husband in the middle of a conversation. Our substantial investment of nearly $30,000 in HESCO equipment, with plans for further expansion, is now overshadowed by this unpleasant encounter.

In contrast, we've been impressed by Matt King's exceptional service at HESCO. His genuine and dedicated approach underscores what we missed in Claude's service.

What was most alarming was Claude's apparent discriminatory behavior. He turned his back, refused assistance, and made dismissive gestures, showing a lack of concern for customer needs. Despite identifying as a manager, his conduct suggests he is ill-suited for a front-of-house role.

Fortunately, our immediate communication with Cory, the president of HESCO, was fruitful. He was extremely helpful and ensured our delivery was rolled out on time.

While we typically reserve our feedback for internal discussions, recognizing the hard work of most employees, the severity of today's experience compelled us to make an exception. It's crucial for businesses to remember that every customer brings trust and expectation of respect, something we hope HESCO takes to heart moving forward

Poor communication, they don't read email details and miss items so you need to constantly ask. Pricing for China made junk is WAY too high. They don't source out items very well or find alternative items when asked.
You tell them you need something designed a certain way and the don't listen. Now we have a $5000 hood that incorrect and over built by every professional that we've had look at it only to cut a hole to modify it and make it work the way we asked .they don't return calls. They don't follow up. After spending $70,000 there you'd think they would go out if there way to deal with issues but we had to fight them for everything. Stay away from these crooks and most other companies in Edmonton.

During the pandemic, he reached out regularly to ensure we had the product for the endless pivots we faced. He was a real life saver some days, and continues to be an asset in our restaurants' successes.
