The staff are fantastic! I volunteer at this location alternating between walking the dogs, playing with the sweet kitties and fundraising events. A hidden gem here is the massive library of used books they have for sale, only $1 each! Every time I go I find more books to purchase. The staff have them organized in a very neat fashion in alphabetical order, so easy to find including hardcover books. They also sell dvds, video games and board games/puzzles. All proceeds directly benefit the animals in their care. Recommend checking it out!

Very professional and loving staff. The animals are actually happy! I adopted this beauty, and even though she spent 1 year at this SPCA, she is trained and in great health. She's been an amazing dog, and big thanks to the Hinton team!

First and foremost the staff and animals are top notch. This review is on their book store and movies only. Appears to me that they are cherry picking their donations, 3 months ago I'd walk in and there would be some real neat finds. This was throughout the years not just 3 months ago. I'd say compared to years past they are definitely talking the nicer items either for themselves or to sell online. My last three visits the stores bin pretty sparce and truly looks like a lot of the same stuff.

We love the Hinton SPCA! This is the cleanest facility that houses animals I've ever seen. It is also a beautiful building and well-designed. The staff members are friendly and helpful and they introduced us to our puppy. He is already well-trained and happy. We can tell he was taken care of so well. Donate, visit, volunteer or adopt and support this place ❤ 🐕 🐱

Very disappointing going in with hopes of finding a dog for me and my girlfriend only to be told, we’re too young and don’t have enough space for our dog, yet we both are active and would take him/her for walks, hikes and tons of trips to lakes. Very upset that a dog doesn’t get a forever and loving home because 21 is apparently too young to be considered responsible enough to adopt. Didn’t ask any questions about our life style and our passions for having a dog at all. Lady that we talked with was very rude and judgmental, talked down to us and made poor assumptions. Would give zero stars if I could. We will adopt elsewhere. We apologize to the dog we weren’t able to love.

Friendly staff, clean pet rooms & pets seam yo be treated with care. We adopted a kitten. Great prices on adoption fees. Fees include first sets of shots, booster and spayed or neutered with final booster.

Good job on my dog grooming. Would have been nice to see the animals because I am interested in getting one. The hours should be different if it were possible.

Great place to kennel your pets when visiting Hinton or Jasper. We dropped off our dog on our way through Hinton to Jasper and picked him up after the weekend to continue on our vacation.
