I came for lumber and fasteners. I was the ONLY customer in the store. I'm standing at the service counter watching two guys on the computers. Nobody says nothing. No hi or I'll be with you in just a sec. Infact I was in the store for a good 15 minutes, felt like a ghost the entire time. Paid for all my stuff and not even a thanks or no words said after. Handed me the receipt and that was that. Like wtf. I'll continue shopping at co-op.

Went into the store the other day and all staff stare at you fron the center desk but no one gets up to assist you in finding what you need. It's been like this for years, back when it was the Building Center in the 90's and 2000's. This HH store sure doesn't feel like the usual feeling you get when you walk into HH, one of assistance. I'm reminded why I avoid this store. It's too bad.

I like the staff here as they are willing to help research what you need and find a solution. If they aren't able to do so, they will refer to the best specialty niche.
The store has an ebb and flow of customers, but no matter how busy they become, someone will acknowledge you as soon as they are able.

Older guys who aren't overly helpful. Just sit there and wait for you to tell them what u want no suggestions. Or is there anything you need help with or explained. Not even a what kind of project are you doing. To get a feel for what the customer is there for. I get more help at a rona in the city.
Guys at the loading area are a nice breath of air compared to those old guys working up front.

This is a really good hardware & building supply centre. It was easy to find staff to help me find what I was looking for. The store was bright and clean and all the shelves were stocked well. The staff are helpful and friendly. I will continue to patronize this store because I always have a good experience when I go there.
