I must say I have always been a shopper of Home Depot and Rona. Both of which have always had incredible staff. But lately I have noticed that there have been many prime Home Depot employees moving to Rona. I have to say it’s just enough to kind of put the weight over to Rona I think I’ll be shopping there more and more love all of your staff. As far as the way you deal with contractors is amazing. Five stars all around.

I had fantastic customer service at Rona Kelowna! The Store Manager who happened to be walking down the aisle I was shopping in went out of his way to help me find the product that I was looking for. Since they were short on the quantity I needed, he even got 6 more units for me from Penticton and had a staff member pick them up while out that way. He called me first thing the next morning and personally handed them to me for pick up. This was all without ever telling me he was even the Store Manager. Thank you for the AMAZING customer service Matt and your modesty is very refreshing!

We drove from Greenwood (2+ hour drive) to purchase a medicine cabinet, as well two storage units. And a few miscellaneous items. Couldn’t find an employee in the department. So approached the employee in paint department. And asked him to page someone for bathroom items . Bored looking employee appears to reluctant to call . But does ….we wait and wait . Approached paint employee again . Repages over intercom…. We wait and wait. So now go to service counter to seek help. Got told short staffed but didn’t offer to help either . Walked back to row 30 and waited . Finally, left the store . And drove over to Home Hardware across the street. We were greeted with a cheery hello as we entered the store . We asked for location of the items we were looking for. Help was there quickly and friendly ( they appeared to be happy employees unlike Rona employees ) Needless to say , we made our purchases at Home Hardware. And actually paid a bit less than Rona’s price. So Thank you to your staff September 29 2024 . We now know not to waste our time trying to purchase items at the Kelowna location .

Just returned items that didn’t get used from a large renovation to both Rona and Home Depot. I always try and support Rona as they are Canadian. Home Depots return policy put money back on my card instantly without receipt where as Rona provided a gift card with out receipt- I stated to the counter that they should look into changing this as this is a huge reason to shop at their competitor- A rude customer service representative then shouted - sounds like an even better reason to keep your receipt -

Won’t shop here anymore if this is how it works - also brutal approach at customer service in Kelowna

The products are great. Most of the staff did not want to help us at all. The lady was annoyed, we asked for help to find products, and she was more concerned about having a chat with her staff members and friends. It was brutal. The cashier seemed to hate his job. Was very evident. As for the lady at customer service, she was amazing and very helpful. She deserves a 5-star review.

This store has such an awesome team to help customers like me. Specifically, Jim, in Lighting/Electronics. Not only did he help visualize my project, he explained it to me in laymen's terms in a way that I could completely understand. He went so far as to stop along the way and ask me if I was ok with his explanation. Like a true educator, a superb teacher in his own right! I made sure I complimented him and then found out that he actually taught electronics in his previous profession! And what an educator he still is. My project had me a bit intimidated and he was patient and kind, got me all the necessary materials I required for my task and ensured I was leaving with all the confidence I needed to get the job done. I purchased a stain that was terrible for a big project I was working on. Saman gel stain I think it was called. I complained and Rona refunded me full price even though I used most of it. Not ronas fault but if this review was for Saman I would give negative stars. The stain takes about a month to dry.
