This plant is almost entirely hidden from view from all public paths and roadways, which is kind of a shame because it occupies a large swath of land by Humber River and it's not that much of an eyesore, IMO. This picture was taken through the fence on the hill accessible from the Humber River Recreational Trail.

The tireless efforts of the staff at this facility go a long way to ensuring our water ways are kept free from pollution. Efforts also prevent the spread of disease and maintain public health. Cheers to the Operating Authority The City of Toronto and it's hardworking front line staff. Don't take a place like this for granted!

My favourite POOP factory, I know i'm almost home when I can smell the fine aroma of hundreds of thousands of fermented brown logs. The best is when they open up the vats during the summer and really wake up your nostrils during bedtime.

This is where your s**t goes to. Treated waste then get discharged into Humber River and out to Lake Ontario. Water activity near the mouth of Humber River not recommended. Occasionally the discharge turn the whole river mouth into a muddy color.

Facility need to re-think air purification as well.Foul smells ofter released not just poop into lake Ontario.
