Always a great experience! Nice to chat with like minded people as well ☺️ plus my toddler loved the plants and fountain. It's pretty obvious these guys LOVE plants and that's exactly what I'm looking for. Ps the squash in the garden outside is amazing 😍 must see the flowers on that thing!

They are nice people.. I've spent thousands there.. the owner tried to markup something by a huge amount when I could see the original price on the bag.. the price I was told it would be. Then she tried to mark it up 45% right in front of me.. it's clear she thinks her customers are just dumb cash cows to milk. I went home and ordered the exact same thing with extras for 50% LOWER the price I was going to pay in Hygro.. that just speaks for itself.. 2 stars because at least they smiled as they robbed me

I don't live in Campbell River but I repeatedly have to go there because Hygro is the only store that stocks EVERYTHING.
Friendly staff, huge selection. The management has created a great resource for their customers.

This is a story of The Little Shop that Could.

I was aimlessly cruising around on my bicycle last Saturday, enjoying the day, do a couple errands and buy some seeds for the little raised bed I have.

"A grow store," I wondered? Probably not but hey, it works for Dirk Gently, so I wander in

What a great store!

The Super/Friendly/Helpful staffer was busy doing garden type things when I arrived...something to do with bedding out plants, I believe.

They had what I needed...mostly advice, and an ample selection of non-GMO and heritage seeds.

As cool was all the indoor type growing gear. As food security, nutrition and cost concerns rise, those microgreen grow systems seemed pretty on point to me!

Jack i do not agree with your comment at all, the guy you have seen with glasses and a goatee is super friendly and from what i've seen hes spent a fairly large amount of money there and hes there a lot because hes a contractor for building indoor grow spaces and hes a very nice, respectful guy, I've meet him numerous times. you saying hes creepy is completely wrong, slandering some one because of your own personal opinion is just wrong.

Website says "happy an friendly"..."we ship worldwide". Lady on the phone made it sound like a shipment within western Canada would be a struggle....lots of "attitude" to be had from this place.
