This place is amazing - all the plots/plants are well cared for and it is so fresh and green. They have everything growing here: apple trees! tall raspberry bushes, tomatoes, root veggies, cauliflower, gorgeous blooms - you name it! Also the greenhouse community hosts and runs events - in the week I’ve been here I’ve attended a beading workshop and a cooking demonstration ending with an incredible Nigerian feast. Can’t wait to see what’s on this week.

We popped in for lunch on a Sunday - roast beef sandwich (so tasty!!), butternut squash soup and teas all round! Then once we’d finished we had some freshly baked muffins with a game of scrabble.

This is such a wonderful place, a lot of towns across Canada could learn a thing or two from these guys!

A must-see in Inuvik!!!

Beautiful initiative. You get can coffee if it is open. Keep an eye out on the Facebook group for events that happen here regularly.

Amazing place. We went here for the tour. One of our favourite places to see in Inuvik especially if the weather outside is not great.

I was involved in this project some years ago and the greenhouse itself is amazing. I hope however that, unlike then, it is not a place that only benefits southerners while failing to actively welcome or benefit the people who have always lived in the area. I hope the gardeners are more diverse than in the past and that the board of directors is more stable and sober, and less problematic.

Great garden and plant sales! The greenhouse offers an interesting experiment, that seems to be working well, of agriculture in the north! Haven't gone on the tour but I hear it's wonderful. Hopefully there are lots more greenhouses open throughout the north.
