had a no notice visit from Golden amd they accommodated perfectly. Chevy is well and the meds worked great. infection from dog bite wounds is gone. no more draining the big pustule. thank you very much ladies 🙏

I visited this clinic with my dog, Dorothy, as we’re temporarily staying in town and she needed xrays for her knees as there was a concern for Luxating patella.

Reception was very kind to schedule us so quickly and they were very welcoming, the installations are great and consultation with doctor went fantastic, they even fit us for xrays same day and took the best care of my little girl.

The reason why I’m deducting two stars is due to an extremely frustrating, yet preventable, aftermath with my pet insurance and I hope this can be a learning opportunity for the team to prevent future issues with other clients.

I explained to the receptionist during check out last night that this claim would be filed under a new condition: Hip Dysplasia. I was told that they would fill out the paper form and send to them, and then Trupanion will ask for medical records. I woke up to Trupanion stating my dog’s claim for Heart Murmur was approved.

I call this morning to inform the receptionist and seek clarification on how this happened and she said “I didn’t file it under Heart Murmur or Hip Dysplasia” I just sat there in silence then asked what she filed it under then and she said “nothing.” She said that usually they call for more information and asked me to call them to figure out what happened.

I call Trupanion, they explain the claim form was received with a blank condition section, therefore their system automatically filed it with a random condition from key words they picked up from the invoice. They also explained as a client, there is not much I can do to appeal the claim, it is up to the clinic to call them, report the claim mistake and start an appeal process with supporting documentation such as an appeal letter from the veterinarian, medical records from the visit, etc. As a client, I can’t provide that, it would be conflict of interest.

I call the clinic again and explain the situation to Angie, she suggests resubmitting the claim and I let her know it’s no longer an option, she said she will get in touch with the lead vet and see what they can do. Our conversation was overall pretty rushed.

I understand how stressful and overwhelming working in vet med is, I did my time up until this summer. However, this whole ordeal is not acceptable and again -preventable-. I don’t appreciate the way I was ignored after trying to help facilitate insurance filing multiple times yesterday, I don’t appreciate being asked to do their job and then being dismissed when I told them what insurance told me.

Please take the time to listen to your client, don’t rush them out of the phone (it won’t make the problems vanish, they’re still very present) and please learn how to properly file for pet insurance.

Terrible and rude ! Not Pet Compassionate!!!

Wouldn't give us meds required for our tripod that was in significant pain . VERY MEAN !!! Not pet responsible . Vet records and prescription sent in , said they were too busy after we made a trip in, we were in the clinic and wasn't busy at all . They need to manage their clinic much better .
Terrible !
Hope they're happy our puppy is in pain until we find a kind vet to help !

We stay in Radium from April to Oct. During this time we get our pain meds for arthritis our dog has and also ketamin injections. They also recently removed 2 very large warts on our dog's head - $300+ for minor surgery & blood tests which was an incredible price considering our vet in Airdrie quoted $900-$1200. They've recently diagnosed some kidney problems and have been great in managing this. Each vet we have seen has been awesome in every way. The staff are outstanding and always treat our pooch with the utmost kindness and gentleness. We are really grateful we have this clinic/staff to help us care for our very senior dog. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Great visit again to Invermere Vet Clinic, what we love about this clinic is the Vets take their time, you never feel rushed in and out and you are listened to. I hate the strong upsell which I have found at some clinics in Calgary
over the years! Invermere Vets in my opinion provide advice, but don’t push all the extra services. Thanks again for taking great care of Jasper this week 😉

Extremely helpful animal hospital here in Invermere. We found this cat outside a restaurant in Radium , and they told us he has been there a few weeks and comes to asl for food. They had put up posters everywhere , but no one came back for him. At the hospital, they checked his Micrchip, but the number listed had changed hands, and there was no way to contact the owner. The little dude is now at ICAN in Invermere. If anyone is interested in adopting a calm, peaceful cat, consider him. Contact ICAN for more information.
