An excellent year-round weekly market with good variety while keeping the focus on fresh, local food. Be prepared for lineups at the most popular stalls. Summer venue is outdoors with live music and food stalls, winter venue is mainly indoors and makes a great place to browse for food-related treats and gifts. Don’t miss it!

Rain or Shine it's a good time! Don't forget your market basket, your gonna need it.

So many different vendors with every kind of thing you can imagine! from fresh veggies and local meats to crafts and pho, they have it all!

Best place in Nanaimo to get fresh local produce, baked goods & handcrafted artisanal items on the regular. I love coming to the market and it's year round which is so convenient. The vendors are lovely & it's pet friendly in the summer! I love the community atmosphere & knowing where my food is coming from.

Great variety of local veggies, fruits, baked goods, meats, hand made stuff and even healthy icecream. The vendors are very helpful and friendly and the general event is well organized. You will find free parking, washroom with soap and a vibrant playground near by. This week the fair is in town in case you want to make a full day event out of it. We ended up getting fresh garlic and sourdough bread, smoked salmon and sausages and of course icecream

My first visit. Mouth watering baked goods are torture for someone on a low carb diet! It's fall, so produce selection is limited, but what they have is of great quality. Prices are fair and I don't mind paying for good quality produce.
