Came in big group for strawberry picking. We enjoyed picking. About $3.3 per pound. There is this black lovely dog who went with us and made the trip better. Recommend this place. They also sell honey in 2 sizes; got 1kg for $9. You either pay cash or e-transfer. A portable toilet is nearby the cashier.

A little farther from the city without the same amenities and crowds as some of the other more well established locations, but that is was separates Jenala from the rest. Its a farm that offers pick your own, which is great for a family outing!

This is the BEST strawberry farm! We happened upon it on our way to Collingwood a few years ago and now I go out of my way to pick here! And they didn’t let us down during covid!

Last year, we happened upon Jenala Farms by chance and stopped by to purchase the best tasting strawberries. This year, we went there 2 days in a row to pick strawberries. We ate through the first batch and came back for more. Family run, low-key business that we plan to continue supporting. They also sell potatoes and fresh chickens, so we're going back when those are ready!

Very good experience. They did not charge us for any deposit and only charged us for strawberries that we picked which was plentiful. They were also managing the farm very well with hay spread around plants making it a clean experience and a safe experience by numbering the rows and assigning the rows to customers for picking. A very good experience.

Children are not welcome for strawberry picking here. Jenala farms has made up their own Covid rules and are not allowing families with more than 2 kids saying they need an extra adult to come with them. Their made up rule: 1 adult per every two children. Is my spouse suppose to take a day off of work and not get paid so I can take my kids to an outdoor activity? Should I bring another potential spreader who doesn’t live in my home instead of my children who do live with me who we know are literally a 0% risk of transmission outdoors?!

They then suggested other places aren’t allowing children at all. I have yet to see another u-pick farm not allowing children. A sneaky attempt to discredit another business for their shameful policies.
Definitely will not be supporting them and we pick a lot of strawberries!
