Decent spot to drop a tent. Not a lot of privacy between you and your tent neighbours though.
Portapotty near one side of the tent area.
Food trucks in the parking lot which was nice.
The fella that checked us in was super friendly

We stayed in a shared area but were very impressed with how quiet the highway was. Didn't keep us up at all. The surf shop and coffee truck are right by the campground which is great for a latte in the morning!

Love the location! Very accessible and spacious. Bonus is that they have food trucks at the location
The only drawback is that they do not have a solid washroom (only a portable)

We’ve stayed here for 3 days and liked it - a simple campground with good wifi. Can’t say anything about the bathrooms since we have a full accommodation RV. Loved the pizza truck in the evening and coffee/cake truck in the morning. 15 minute drive to Uklelet, 30 minute drive to Tofino & 15 minutes to long beach. There’s also a surf shop which makes it super easy if you want to surf. Friendly staff as well 🙂

If you want to travel 6 hours to be told to shut up while having simple conversation, go here.

If you love camping next to un cleaned bear poo, go here.

If there are no noise complaints from your fellow campers, don't worry, staff will make one up.

Honestly worst camping experience of my life.

Save your money and camp for free anywhere else.

We had a perfectly good experience at JX Campground! The site is very conveniently located and by far one of the cheapest around the area, 20$ for the overnight parking option. Yes it’s a little loud, but nothing you wouldn’t expect by staying close to the highway, as good travellers you must have your earplugs at all time! The toilets were pretty clean, the guard and his dog were lovely. You have multiple ways to pay depending on when you get there so this al makes it a very convenient camping site + there are surrounded by other business so you can get nice coffee in the morning and you have pizzas and empanadas for the evening!

Great spot, friendly welcome!
Sam and the security guard both gave a warm, friendly welcome. This is a great place for an affordable stay with awesome coffee and food trucks right on the property! I’ll definitely be back. Thanks again, Sam!
