Pretty decent priced for some items. Looks like it’s a smaller plant / landscaping supplies place.
The workers seem friendly enough.
Didn’t have what I wanted but they do have lots of choices. From manure to shrubs , flowers and trees. They even had wood and fire wood
A definite place to have a browse

First visit this year - in our search for the BEST Christmas Tree - we found it within minutes at Kastrau! Such a wonderful atmosphere, amazing selection of Christmas Trees and terrific staff! We needed some cedars to fill in along the property line. I got 4 quotes, Kastrau was neither the most expensive nor the cheapest. Here is why we are glad we went with them.
Peter (the owner) came out to look at the site and provide a quote, he was also there, shovel in hand, when it came time to plant the trees. Thats a big plus in my book. The trees are perfect, we got to see them before the delivery, another big plus. Installation was a 10/10, his staff are very pleasant. The warranty is a full year (not everyone does that. He also trimmed the other existing cedars. Next time I won't bother with a quote, I'll just go to Kastrau. Nice job.

This company's prices are outrageously expensive! I had wished to purchase three 6 foot Cypress trees. They advised me that to have them delivered and planted would incur a cost of $3386.61. They were absolutely unwilling to offer even the smallest discount. I took my business elsewhere and found what I wanted for a fraction of the price. Buyer beware!

We went to look at trees to replace one we had that died. When we got there we saw lots of trees in lots of snow and had no idea where to look. A Kastrau employee, a son of the owner, got right off his tractor when he saw us and was able to direct us right to where we needed to go. In fact he threw a snowball to show us where and we ended up buying the very tree the snowball hit lol. Everything went very smoothly and they're coming to plant it next month. I didn't realize tree buying could be such a pleasant, easy
experience and we were very pleased with the price of the tree including the installation. They really know their stuff and I highly recommend Kastrau Landscaping!

Recently Peter Kastrau's landscaping team came to our home to beautify our backyard. Due to prior dealings with this company we knew we were in good hands!
Our garden has been transformed into a beautiful oasis! Our small spa pool is now surrounded with a very attractive variety of cedars, boxwoods, and yew bushes. The existing brickwork was carefully restored with sand and drainage. We also have a water feature statue that has not worked for several years. Thanks to the tenacity and hard work of his talented crew, it is once again flowing with ease!
My husband, Daryl and I felt we must let others know about the excellent and very reliable work that Katrau's consistently delivers. Thank you Peter, please thank your team of skillful landscapers!
