I had a rock come off of one of Kawartha Capitals dump trucks. The rock hit my windshield and left a chip and spiderweb Crack about approx 1 and a half times the size of a twoonie. I spoke with a manager and they will not stand behind any fault of theirs. They said to go through insurance....... who wants their insurance rates to rise when it isn't their own fault?

I am leaving this review because of a incident that happened today. I have not used their service but this is in regards to a dump truck loaded with gravel on the highway. We were passing each other on Durham road 23 (Lakeridge) I was heading northbound and the truck was heading south as we passed each other two big rocks came out of the truck and smashed my windshield. It hit so hard that it projected glass throughout the inside of my car all over the front, I was luckily wearing my sunglasses so I didn't get much in my eyes. I turned around to flag the driver over and before he pulled over I seen other smaller diameter rocks bouncing out and on top of the screen cover. After we pulled over and I told the driver what happened he hoped up and looked in his load and said the load was down 5” from the top and no way anything came out. He was the only truck I passed and I told him it most certainly was and he tried to blame someone else and immediately denied it. There was no immediate injuries noticed so the police said that they will not send someone out and to fill out a report online. The driver would not provide any information when I asked so all I had was the plate number of the truck which was all I needed. I called the company and I was told that’s unfortunate and to call my insurance. So now I’ll be out the deductible of $500 and time of my car. I grew up in this area and I know all about trucks and small stones coming out but for something like this to happen not only for it to do what it did but also others coming out it was absolutely unsafe and I am just thankful that it didn’t hit someone on a motorcycle or it could have been a much worse outcome.

I am leaving this review because of what I witnessed on the 401 by one of your companies drivers. I have never used your service. Just this morning we were driving to Peterborough. Taking the ramp from the 401 East to the 115. The lanes were down to one for construction. The transport in front of us had to move over quickly causing us to slow down. The driver of the truck behind us was right on top of us and continued to ride us for a fair bit once we were on the 115. He finally sped past us and started doing it to the cars in front of us. We watched him lane change to the fast lane and then almost immediately go back to the slow lane and then again, almost immediately repeated the same lane changes. However, he had no where to go with the amount of traffic doing the safe and legal speed limit. Within 30 seconds he sped up and took a ramp off the 115. He made us feel very unsafe and after watching him intimidate the other drivers the same way he did to us on the ramp, we can no longer give him the benefit of the doubt to his driving on the ramp from the 401 to the 115 as a construction issue. I have not called the company as I have read the other review on here about another driving incident. I do hope your company will re-train on safety issues for your drivers safety, as well as others. It took us a bit to catch up to him to take this pic as we were driving the legal speed limit. I have a 12 sec video of him riding the car in the second picture as well.

The guys at the counter are great to deal with and will get you sorted. The problems fall within cheap labour around the yard. If they weren't the only unilock dealer local I'd go elsewhere. Troubles loading trucks with forklifts, skids of wall block will come with broken corners (if they give you the right wall block). Only leaving this comment for management to make corrections in their training process. I don't blame the young guys in the yard but they should be taught appropriately.

Really appreciated the great service from Kyle and Sir Reginald. Besides the "bakers dozen" approach, when I came back for more after they were officially closed I was served with a smile. Great overall experience and I will certainly be back!

Had an amazing experience with the company. To my own fault I thought the bin was delivered to the wrong location, the owner picked up on a Saturday and even drove over to confirm. Couldn't recommend higher!

Couldn't be happier with their kind, professional service and expertise.
I would give them 6 stars, if allowed.
The rocks were delivered in less than 24 hours and were placed 100% according to my wishes.
The staff are polite and welcoming.
Even more, Ron (a worker's dog) is there to gently meet customers with a wag of his tail.
This place is a must-go for anyone looking to improve their property's curb appeal.

Used them for the first time today. Ordered our top soil yesterday and they delivered this afternoon. Definitely got the 10 yards plus that we ordered. The driver was very pleasant. Great price and great service.
