Carolyn is so welcoming and obviously loves to share her passion and love for these comical animals! She is very educating and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my whole experience there and her lovely energy. The 66 alpacas have a wonderful clean and caring home at the Kickin' Back Ranch. We got up close and personal with these soft fibred beauties. Check out her wonderful alpaca shawls, scarves and rugs she also makes!

I visited Kickin’ Back Alpaca Ranch twice this summer with my niece and nephew and had a great time both visits. Carolyn is great and has a tonne of information and stories to share. The kids loved it and talked all the way home about all the different alpacas they got to meet and feed (and how they now want their own alpacas!). Highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful time at this family-owned alpaca farm! The owners were incredibly welcoming and took the time to explain everything about the alpacas, their care, and the farm itself. It was not only fun but also very educational.

They are amazing with kids — patient, kind, and full of great stories that kept everyone engaged. My child loved getting up close with the alpacas and learning how gentle and curious they are. The whole experience felt safe, well-organized, and genuinely family-friendly.

Booked the VIP tour and highly recommend it. Lots of beautiful alpacas that you can get up close with in a very clean and tidy facility. Carolyn has lots of interesting stories of the farm the animals and her own personal experiences that led her to run this amazing place. Finish the tour with a visit to the amazing gift shop.

Our family fully enjoyed our visit to Kickin Back Alpaca Ranch. We had 4 generations, Great-Grandma, Grandma, Daughter and her 2 children. Carolyn was amazing with all ages of our family. The tour was full of fun, interaction with the Alpacas and a wonderful learning experience about Alpacas. We were lucky a baby Alpaca was born the day before which was very exciting for all of us to see. I would highly recommend booking a tour it is a fantastic interactive experience for everyone. The Alpacas are so gentle and calming to be around, they love to be petted and we even got to feed them.

We brought my mom (who has Alzheimer's) for a tour because she has always loved alpacas. We had an amazing time! Carolyn was a wonderful host. She explained so much to us about alpacas and their care and answered all our questions. The alpacas were sweet, gentle, and friendly. We got to interact with many alpacas, including babies that were just a few days old. We also had the opportunity to feed them treats. We booked the tour that included a stuffed alpaca, which my mom absolutely loved and is sleeping with it at night. This was a great tour for people of all ages, as we had a teenager right up to senior citizens. I would 100% recommend this experience! Thank you!

Absolutely AMAZING time! Carolyn was our guide and owner of the Alpaca Ranch, along with her husband Doug.
We were warmly greeted by Doug, while we waited for the tour to begin with Carolyn. She took us to the “mammas barn” where all the female Alpacas and babies were housed. The barn was very clean, and the Alpacas were lovingly cared for, and you can tell they are happy and healthy. Carolyn was a wealth of knowledge, answered all our questions and shared so much with us about her Alpacas. You can see how much she loves each and every Alpaca. We had such an amazing time, and we learned so much as we got to cuddle and feed the alpacas…..no fences between us and the animals. We were all together and having lots of fun, all the Alpacas were calm and friendly and truly enjoyed interacting with us. I HIGHLY recommend a visit to their Alpaca Ranch….on a side note, you have the option to go into their store to see handmade items using the Alpaca wool from some of the Alpacas you just met. Check out their store, you will not be disappointed!

The host is obviously passionate about alpacas and knows a great deal about them. We were a group of 8 and she brought us to the barn which was very well maintained. Here we could interact and pet the alpacas.

Overall a very nice experience!
