Kindred Farm is a sanctuary where animals can truly thrive, offering them a safe space to rediscover happiness and live as they naturally would. Here, they are free to socialize with their own species and others, while expressing their normal, instinctive behaviors. The dedicated staff and volunteers pour their hearts into providing the best possible care, filled with love and compassion. Kindred is truly a special place full of love, kindness and care for everyone and every animal. I was introduced to this impactful organization 7 years ago and have witnessed all the hard work and dedication it took to now own a farm for their animals and to facilitate programs, like Badger's camp for kids. I spent time on the farm getting to know the animals, learning their stories from their amazing staff and getting to share with the public through social media. I now spend every Monday as a volunteer caring for the animals and truly look forward to my time there. Seeing the hard work from everyone involved is inspiring. I highly recommend donating, time or funds to support this wonderful cause.

Like their name implies, this charity is full of kindness for both people and animals. I've known this organization for 16 years and have both donated and volunteered for them. I'm so happy that they exist and appreciative of all they do to help as many animals and people as they can. In the last year they were able to purchase their own farm and are helping more and more animals and children. I love seeing and hearing about everything Kindred does, it's definitely a charity you can feel really good about supporting...whether you volunteer, donate, or do both.

What an amazing organization! All the volunteers I have met during my time here have been nothing short of the most wonderful people. They go above and beyond to care for their animals.
Any negative reviews do not take into account that this is a nonprofit organization, and they are simply trying to do their best to help make animals lives as best as they can- sometimes that means acknowledging their limited resources to best serve the animals they already have in their care.

I really find it appalling that people would give bad reviews to a rescue just because they had to turn animals away. I wish these people would consider what it takes to run a rescue and how many volunteers, money and space is required. Taking too many roosters means chickens get harassed and worse that I cannot say here so its understandable that rescues cannot take them all in. I commend rescues that know when to say no so the animals they already have are not forced to suffer. Taking in more animals than you can responsibly care for is called hoarding. Kindred is a responsible rescue and the people there are caring and respectful to the animals in their care.
So stop giving bad reviews just because Kindred didn't have the space and resources for another rooster in need. There are thousands of roosters in need and I cant find rescues to take them. Thats just reality. Are you giving every rescue a bad review just because they said no? Stop bashing one of the very few places that actually help and properly care for their animals. Kindred is a wonderful place

Kindred farm is such a special place of healing for humans and animals alike.
