First time bringing my boy here. He seemed stressed when I picked him up, but he was fed and alive so that's automatically 4 🌟. The fact that they didn't socialize him with other dogs hurt my heart for him as he loves all animals and loves to play. But over all they did a great job

Addison: I truly appreciate you being so great with Mya. Even though she hates her nails done, I think you're her only exception to giving into the terrifying experience of getting her nails done. I bring my rough collie puppy finn here for daycare and grooming. I am beyond impressed with there services. He absolutely loves daycare. And its always nice to the photos of him playing with other dogs on there FB. Grooming is excellent. Came back much fluffier, cleaner, and mat/tangle free. I have no worries leaving him there for daycare or boarding, and its an excellent way to socialize him. He usually puts up a fuss about going home! Thanks Klassic Kennels!

We adopted a 6-month-old pit bull mix from Next Chapter Animal Rescue four months ago. It was a representative from the rescue who later reached out to inform me that, per the adoption contract, we were required to return the dog to Klassic Kennels in Red Deer, Alberta, and could not re-home her ourselves.

Unfortunately, after bringing her home, we discovered significant behavioral issues that had not been disclosed at the time of adoption. These included frequent accidents indoors and destructive chewing. We made consistent efforts to address and correct her behavior, including crate training and other methods, but were ultimately unsuccessful.

When it became clear that rehoming her was in her best interest, the process of returning her to Klassic Kennels was particularly distressing. The staff treated me with rudeness, condescension, and a lack of compassion, which added unnecessary emotional strain to an already difficult situation.

Furthermore, during this process, I was informed that I would need to make a "donation" for them to house the dog. This so-called donation was later referred to as a "surrender fee." This is not only misleading but also unprofessional, as a donation should be voluntary, not demanded. It raises ethical concerns about how Klassic Kennels conducts its business. As a kennel, they already run a paid boarding service, making it highly questionable to demand additional fees for simply following through on a rehoming contract.

Klassic Kennels emphasizes finding loving homes for their dogs, but when the match isn't successful, their response was not only unsympathetic but punitive. This experience does not align with their purported values and raises serious concerns about their commitment to the animals' and adopters' welfare.

I hope this feedback encourages Klassic Kennels to reflect on their practices and treat future adopters with the compassion and respect that should be the foundation of any animal adoption process.

After losing my beautiful Bull Mastiff last month, my Charlie was definitely feeling depressed. He had never been without her. So, I decided to put him into doggy daycare at Klassic Kennels. He loves it! He gets so excited to go and is loving the socialization. Wonderful place go bring your dogs. Caring staff.

My favourite place to take my dogs!!! Klassic kennels has an incredible atmosphere. They are always understanding of my concerns with my old girl and ready to take on the challenge of my crazy dog as well. I’ve boarded with them countless times and every time they surpass my expectations. My dogs always leave healthy, happy and most importantly tired lol. I’ll always bring my puppers back here… you can’t go wrong with these guys!

Everyone at Klassic is awesome. My dog goes regularly to Day Care and has the best time. The staff care about their doggo friends and know them by name. I won’t take my boy anywhere else
