We had a wonderful stay at Kokanee Glacier Resort! The setting is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect spot to relax and recharge. The owners made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to Meimei, who was so lovely and full of great recommendations for exploring Nelson and the surrounding area.||The on-site restaurant is a hidden gem—delicious food with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Definitely worth dining in! Our room was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable, ideal for families or couples alike. We especially appreciated the full kitchenette, which came equipped with a full stove, fridge, microwave, and all the kitchen essentials—perfect for making meals just the way we like them.||It's clear that a lot of care and thought goes into making guests feel welcome. Whether you're planning a quiet couple's getaway or a family adventure, this resort has everything you need. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!

My partner and I arrived late but the wonderful person on the front desk (Mei Mei) waited for us. She was so lovely (and funny) to deal with and made our stay even better. Our room was wonderful. Clean, updated, and very comfortable. When we visit Vernon again we will be staying here.

The owner is really kind and easy to interact with. You can tell that she cares a lot about the guest experience. The rooms are really nice and location is great. It is close to Nelson while maintaining privacy. The resort feels less like a traditional hotel experience, instead feeling like you are being welcomed into a family and community.

It was the perfect place for our family reunion. Lots of room on the property for our young kids to run around without disturbing other guests. Nice and close to Nelson and easy access to beaches and other activities. Rooms are older but well taken care of. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Front desk person (Mei Mei) was lovely. She waited for us as we were arriving late, then upgraded us to a newly renovated room. Service was fabulous and the room was beautiful. A little ways out of the city (12 minute scenic drive).

We spent our 5 year anniversary trip at Kokanee Glacier Resort and it was fantastic! From the service, cleanliness, quality, and food, everything was amazing. Right from the start we were met with friendly service and our room was beautiful and spotless. The restaurant is a hidden gem, beautiful atmosphere with some of the best food either of us have had in some time! Even if you are staying in Nelson, the 10 minute drive is worth it!

Exceptional lake views from acres of manicured lawns with flower beds, a fun tree house, and well kept playground.

My room was a suite configuration, within a motor lodge facility with newly updated decor and soundproofing. Quiet, comfortable, and secure. Bedding was very comfy, mattress firm but not hard. Kitchen was quite nice, closer to a full kitchen with modern appliances than the typical kitchenette. Another big plus. My suite functioned as a pleasant 1-bedroom apartment.

The onsite restaurant is exceptional. Everything I ate was superb, and I would particularly highlight the laksa and stir fried prawns. Don't miss this place!

Hotel management is very organized and guest oriented. You will feel cared for during your entire stay, as well as before and after! I felt like I was staying with friends and noticed all other guests receiving the same hospitality and attention.
