Nick is a very enthusiastic, interesting vintner, and a wonderful host. He is fully involved in every aspect of the production of his unique, internationally awarded wines (many of which are to be found in the niche categories).

La Casa Bianca is refreshingly different from the big corporate estates. It's a true family farm, on which different kinds of wine have been produced for generations. A farm, where Nick and his mother (Linda) are building on the traditions and know-how to produce classic wines and (more importantly) new very special wines.

We loved our visit at Casa Bianca, loved to see where all the grapes, fruits, and nuts (Yes! Nuts!) grow, and spend time on a real rural farm, where real farmers with real passion produce 50 (soon to be 90) different kinds of wine!

Go there! and you'll find not another show-off castle, but a true production site with a true wine producing family.

The deep sweetness of a dessert wine is truly something special. A perfectly ripe plum can offer similar delights. Imagine the rich, concentrated flavors bursting forth. The texture, smooth and yielding, provides a satisfying mouthfeel. Such a treat can be a perfect ending to a meal. Consider pairing it with a mild cheese or a simple biscuit. We met Nick at the Osoyoos Farmer Market and he was an amazingly engaging and vibrant character! You can tell just how passionate he is about his wine and is Greta at explaining the process and uses for each bottle. I am not normally someone who picks up on the "notes" in wine, but the skill Nick brought from his coffee background make it so that each flavour profile is immediate and you know exactly which fruits are used! He wasn't afraid to mix the wines into cocktails and show us different ways to drink it which is something I've never seen another winery do. We absolutely loved all of the wines we sampled and look forward to going back and seeing him again.

Absolutely loved my experience with this winery! I met the owner at the Blush Bridal and Baby Market, and they were incredibly friendly, personable, and helpful. Helped me pick out their Haskap Berry sweet wine that was absolutely divine - I bought a bottle on the spot! They were also very knowledgeable about their wines and the process. Such a treat to find a gem like this, will definitely be returning to restock. Highly recommend checking them out!

We had a fantastic time at this winery! What was supposed to be just one of the many tastings planned for that day turned into us leaving with 3 bottles in tow! Nick was a fantastic and generous host and hearing about his journey and unique perspectives of wine making made our time there so much more enjoyable. Thank you Nick for a great experience. Loved tasting such extraordinary flavors that were so uniquely curated. The black walnut becoming a quick favorite. Discovered at the Osoyoos Farmer Market and we will be back to keep up stock and see what they have coming next.

I met Nick at the Summerland Market. I enjoyed everything I tasted , and left with two bottles of wine - the peach and haskap berry . He gave great descriptions and showed me how to mix it to enjoy it , more ways than one !
