We’re visiting the area and decided to check this course out. We lucked into a special morning rate between 11 and 1. Had to rent clubs because we hadn’t brought ours, and overall both of us were impressed by the course layout and conditions. It’s very pleasant and playable for women (saw a lot of women members so that tells me something right there). The greens were stunning and ran very true. Some nice elevation changes kept things interesting. If you missed the fairway you could usually find your ball as the underbrush was well maintained. Loved the par 3s here!! They were challenging and fun. We also found the driving range and practice green were a good warm up.

The only suggestion I would make would be to add vertical yardage markers for 200 and 100, to calculate position (we didn’t have a rangefinder with us). The flat 100 markers in the ground were difficult to locate.

We ended our day at Lacombe G&CC on a lovely patio overlooking the number 1 tee off area. Excellent food and cold beer was the perfect conclusion to a pleasant round. Shoutouts to Adam in the proshop and Hunter, our server on the deck. Friendly customer service right across the board and I recommend checking LG&CC out.

Pretty disappointed in my experience here. Booked in for 9 with some friends to relax before a wedding and by hole 3 we had been harassed by the members and we were followed around the course by the Pro. Nice enough course but not worth the 90$ green fee (including cart) to be harassed and not have a good time. Guys in the shop we're nice. Won't be back.

So disappointed in this place. My groom and groomsmen just wanted a fun relaxing round of golf before the wedding and unfortunately they were harassed and followed around the course. No they are not members, no they are not pros. If this place isn’t welcoming to newbies and people whom just want to enjoy a little golf then make it members only.

Bad experience at this course. Not worth the $90 to play. Just wanted to enjoy a quick 9 hole game with my groomsmen before getting married and unfortunately playing here started off the big day bad.
Won't be going back.

My wife and I joined up with another couple this past weekend. Course was a little wet from the over night rain but still had a great time.
